Four Revivals In One Night!

Greetings again from Nevada, Missouri. This is Rev. Sanchez and Rev. Mancini and we are so excited about what God has been doing that we teamed up to write this blog together!  Once again we had a very good crowd and the people were ready to worship God.  I ( Rev. Mancini) led song service again and when we got to the last song, “It’s all over me and it's keeping me alive” the power of God came into that tent.  I told the people to get out of their seats and walk across the altar.  And people started moving out praising God and when they did that the power of God increased.  Even the lady in the wheelchair wanted to praise God; she was talking in tongues and praising God while being pushed back and forth around the altar by her friend who also had her eyes closed praising God.  She did not care where she was going and she was bumping into the bales of hay at the altar but it did not matter because God was being glorified! This was the first revival!
Then Pastor Travis grabbed the microphone from Rev. Mancini and with renewed fire he started preaching.  He was walking amongst the people with the wireless microphone exhorting that you don’t have to wait, you could step out and get saved, healed and filled with the Holy Ghost right now!  Then he went around laying his hands on people and God was moving!  We thought it was all over but God had more for his people!  Pastor Travis was beside himself; he did not know what to do.  He went back up on the platform and called Rev. Sanchez to preach but he forgot the singers he had lined up and he forgot the offering.  He was in another world but God wanted the service to go on!  This was the second revival!

When the singers got up to sing there was something different in their songs.  There was an added power to their singing!  Even the Borders quiet singing had new life. And when the Daughters of God got up to sing, they were fantastic!  While they were singing people were crying, clapping their hands and praising God! As they sang one song, "Jesus at the Well", the presence of God really touched people lives! We thought the service was over here but it wasn’t, it was a third revival. They told me later (Rev. Sanchez) how much they got out of the preaching and really want more of God in their lives and in their ministers.  One of the ladies said that she could not contain the power that was coming forth from the preaching and felt like she was going to explode!

But God was not done yet!  We know that this is not the right English but this is Missouri talking!  God wanted His Word to come forth.  I (Rev. Sanchez) preached “There is Oil in the House!” from the story in Kings from the widow whose husband died and the creditor came to get her sons but their was oil in the house to meet her needs. I went on to say there was a pot of oil which is the Holy Ghost and you have to get it for yourself.  At the altar call people came with expectancy!  Rev. Mancini was at one end, Pastor Travis was in the middle and I was on the other end.  All over the altar the Holy Ghost was moving! Four ladies fell out in the Holy Ghost! One was a young lady who was visiting from another church. She came to the altar seeking God and when hands were laid on her she went down!  And she kept praising God on the ground!  Also a young man was really committing his life to God.  One the other side of the altar there was woman who came to the meeting for the first time.  As she lifted her hands the power of God came upon her and she started talking in tongues and crying and she fell out under the power of God. Another lady came for prayer and she got filled with the Holy Ghost and fell back on a chair and we left her there talking in tongues and praising God.  Another lady who has been battling depression for the last few years has coming to the meetings and has been getting stronger and stronger every night.  She testified earlier that yesterday was the first time she had no depression all day! And tonight was her night, as she praised God we laid hands on her telling her to receive her pot of oil. The minute this was spoken she lifted her hands higher and her arms started trembling, her lips started stammering and she fell back magnifying God!  Meanwhile this lady's daughter was really seeking God crying and we spoke to her telling her to receive her pot of oil and when we laid hands on her and her body trembled and you could feel the Holy Ghost rising up inside of her and she burst forth talking in tongues!

These are just a few highlights of what God did Friday night! People were everywhere praying for each other believing God for miracles and healings.  People were laid out on the ground, in chairs, on their knees, sitting on the  bails of hay and God was moving! This was the fourth revival. Near the end Pastor Travis talked about a group of pastors that had a burden for this area and they prayed for revival 40 years ago. One of the pastors who prayed the prayed was in the tent revival. Pastor Travis said that he believes that this is the answer to the prayer they prayed 40 years ago and this is just the beginning.

God bless you & Thank you for praying

The Lord Went Before Us!!

Hello!  This is Rev. Salvatore Mancini with greetings to all from Nevada, Missouri.  It has been a joy to be here with Rev. Sanchez. Pastor Travis and his wife, Anita, send their love and blessing to all the folks back home.  And we want to thank you so much for praying.  We are sure excited about what God is doing at Fairview Full Gospel church and tonight was no different.  You have already read the great things that God has done so far. Thursday night when we got to the church people were ready and you could feel the presence of God even before the service began.  We had 38 people in attendance and 4 first timers that came to the tent revival.  The Lord truly went before us.  Each service has been building up and tonight was one of our greatest services from start to finish because the people are really getting a hold of the Holy Ghost. Rev. Sanchez led song service and everyone was clapping their hands and entering in worshiping God. Our Friends, "The Daughters of God" singing group were with us again. They sure did a fantastic job.

I (Rev. Mancini) ministered on “According to the Power that Worketh in You” Part two.  I could feel the church pulling the Word of God out of me because they really want God to move in this community.  Remember our friend the lady who was healed and when the Holy ghost came upon her the crutches shook off of her?!  Well, she has been coming back every night since without her crutches and tonight she brought two souls and they were our "shouting corner"!  One of those souls came for prayer and I prayed with her and she asked that God would bring a move of God to her church like she felt tonight.  Two other souls answered the altar call for salvation.  One young man who had not been in church for a long time and one lady who recently lost her husband and had trouble getting over it.  She had not been in church for four years.  What was really exciting was most of the church members came down and prayed with people at the altar. Especially one young lady who came to the altar for prayer, she has a tumor that is benign; however it is dangerous if it keeps growing.  But after prayer she testified that she is believing that God is going to give her a testimony over this to share with others.  And the rest of the people were in their seats praising God! Pastor and Sister Travis are thrilled because their prayers are being answers. He has been teaching his people to step out and believe God at the altar and help pray for people and it is happening!  His church is stepping out for God and it is exciting to see!  Once again thank you Pastor Kalinsky, church family and all our brothers and sisters that have been praying for this trip.

God bless you

Something Got A Hold Of Me!

“Something got a hold of me, oh yes it did! Something got a hold of me! I went to a meeting one night and my heart wasn’t right, something got a hold of me!”

Well my friends the songwriter could not have written a more fitting song for last night’s camp meeting because something got a hold of us and it was the Holy Ghost!  The power of God filled the house and people reached out to the Lord with faith and God saturated His people! One lady stood with her hands raised towards the heavens as we laid hands on her the power of God came upon her so strong she could no longer stand.  As she began to fall back in the presence of God her entire body started shaking and she began to speak in tongues!  Can I just take a moment and tell somebody that Pentecost in still alive!  Is it all right to declare that God is still filling people with the Holy Ghost!  This is why Peter, in the book of Acts 2:14-18, after they were all filled with the Holy Ghost came down from the upper room said to the world, “Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:  And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:”  Well bless God, He is still pouring out His Spirit on whosoever will!

Another lady was standing at the altar seeking God and when the same Holy Ghost came upon her she started shouting and crying and talking in tongues!  Another lady hit the ground moving from side to side talking in tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance.  She tried to get up but she kept staggering around like a drunkard.  She was being endued with power from on High!  She tried to settle down but she couldn’t.  She kept twirling in circles and talking in tongues!  In Zechariah 4:6 it says “…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”  My friend your victory is in the Holy Ghost! Stir up the gift that lies within you!  If you don’t got it, get it!  And if you have it, use it!  Jesus said that you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you!  Power to work, power to build, power to speak, power to heal, power to fight, power to change things, power to overcome, power to win the battles!  Power to walk with God!  Hallelujah!  Thank God it is not based on feelings but it is based on the Word of God!  So if you’re feeling a little weary, if it looks like your enemy is getting the upper hand, get in the Holy Ghost and release the power!

God bless you
Rev. Melvin L. Sanchez

You can do all things!

Tonight I (Rev. Sanchez) led song service.  As I was singing, the people were clapping and rejoicing but there was a lady in the audience who was having an attack.  She had severe pain in her chest and thought she would have to be hospitalized.  But thanks be unto God, for when Rev. Mancini and Pastor Travis went over to pray with her, God touched her and took the pain away!  Praise God!  Right at the start of service God was already moving!  Rev. Mancini really preached tonight on “The power that worketh in you”.  He talked about how we have to face the things that are in our lives and allow God to set us free so we can go on to do God’s will.  Yes God can heal us and deliver us but the Holy Ghost has also come to help us to live a victorious Christian life.  We are not just called to warm a seat in a church but each one of us has to do something for God because God has a plan for our lives.  At the altar call many people faced and dealt with many things and God delivered people from depression and drugs tonight!  God is on a mission; He is exposing the things that bind lives, allowing the captives to be set free!

You know we live in a time that it is easy to make excuses for why we don’t serve God or give God our all but let us cast aside all of the excuses this morning and allow God to do what He wants to do in our lives.  The Lord is soon to return!  It is time for us to move past the baby stages of repenting every week over the same things every week or spending our days accomplishing nothing for the Kingdom of God.  It is time for us to rise up in Holy Ghost power and do the will of God!  Some people may say, Oh I have this problem and I can’t do it, or because I am old or have to go to school or maybe I have children so that’s why I can’t do it.  Maybe my spouse does not serve God so I can’t really serve God either.  Stop it!  Just stop it.  The Bible says that GREATER is He that is in you than he that is in the world.  Romans 8:31 says “…if God be for us, who can be against us?”  You can do the will of God today!  Get up and do something for God!  Go and testify; get involved in the ministry, pray, read the Bible, help the poor, feed the hungry, give to missions.  Don’t sit back another moment in nothingness, but rise up and do something for the Kingdom of God!  Don’t say I can’t do it because I am not the Apostle Peter, I am not the Apostle Paul, and I am not Rev. Sanchez, because you are a child of God!  And all God is looking for is your availability.  Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”  So rise up and do something for God today because you can do all things! God wants to speak through you, God wants to heal through you, and God wants to reach this world through you.  So just say YES! Because you can do all things!

God bless you

The Healer is in the House!

Tonight Rev. Mancini led song service under the big tent! He sang good old fashion camp meeting choruses and everyone was singing and clapping their hands. In between songs he exhorted and encouraged the people to enter into the presence of the Lord. After song service an old couple called "The Borders" sang a special, both of them played their guitars as they sang “Yes, Oh Yes I’m a Child of the King”!

Soon after the offering and a few more special songs I (Rev. Sanchez) got up and shared about missions and then I went right into the Word and preached a message on "Impossibilities". As I preached the power of God filled the tent! People were crying, shouting clapping and even standing at times during the preaching. Faith was building! At the altar call a woman came down with crutches, she had problems with her hips. Rev. Mancini asked her, “What would you like God to do for you?” She said, “I have so many problems and my family is not serving God. I need a miracle.” Rev. Mancini said to her, "Sister, just give it all to Jesus because He is here.” and the minute she lifted up her hands the Holy Ghost came down on her like a flood. She started rocking and shaking and talking in tongues and all of a sudden she shook loose from her crutches shouting and screaming! She was healed by the power of God! The woman could not control herself! She was like the lame man from the temple beautiful in the Book of Acts because when he got healed he went leaping and jumping and praising God in the temple and this is exactly what this woman was doing! Another man came to the altar with pain in his legs. It was affecting his job and he did not know what he was going to do but when he came down to the altar God healed his legs! The pain was gone! He was walking all over the church and the parking lots with no pain! Tonight a woman came down the altar looking for a touch from God; she looked as if the weight of the world was on her shoulders.  As she kneed down by the bales of hay that we set up as an altar, and lifted up her hands we could she her burdens lifting as the power of the Most High overshadowed this woman and then she began to cry and speak in tongues as God filled her with the precious Holy Ghost. The next time I saw her she was laid out at the altar still talking in tongues and praising God. Tonight God met needs all over the church. There was not a big crowd tonight but we are expecting many to come because of the testimonies that are going out tonight! God has made himself real and everyone is excited!

We are believing God to do great things! We are looking for God to do miracles! Not just here in Missouri but right where you are, right now!  I don’t know what you are facing. Maybe it is financial, maybe it’s emotional, and maybe you need a healing or deliverance. Maybe you need an answer, a breakthrough or a mountain moved. All I know is that God said last night “Now is the time and today is the day.” Glory to God! That means He is moving! Enough is enough the wait is over!  Halleluiah! I want you to stop whatever you are doing and take a moment to lift up your hands and lay hold of your miracle! Now! Come on somebody! I don’t care who is around you; I don’t care who may hear you! Just lift up your hands and release your faith! Open your mouth and say “I receive it in the name of Jesus! It’s mine in the name of Jesus! Sickness be healed, mountain be moved, problem be solved, sinner be saved, chains be broken, homes be restored in the name of Jesus!" Glory to God! Somebody ought to praise Him! If you've got to, just take a five-minute break and praise Him! Praise Him like you already got it! Praise Him like you already see it! The Bible says when you pray believe that you have received it and you shall have it! So don’t wait till your battle is over shout now! Shout now! Shout now!

God bless you!

Super Sunday in Missouri

What a great joy it is for Rev. Mancini and I to be in Missouri again!  As we drove to church Sunday, the familiar scenes of horses running, large farmhouses and black angus cows was a reminder to us that we were definitely not in the city.  It took us a little while to get inside the church because of the heavy rain but once we got inside everyone was so excited to see us.  Song service was wonderful. They sang songs right out of the hymnbook. Some of these songs I am sad to say I have not heard in years like “Victory in Jesus” and "Onward Christian Soldiers”.  After song service they turned the service over to me and I shared a mission report on the heartbeat of God.  The people clapped and praised God as I shared about God’s desire for humanity in the times that we are living in.  I also shared about The New Church in D.R. Congo and how it is almost completed!  I talked about Rev. Engman and Sister Adrienne our T.E.A.C.H. representative’s trip to Lusaka, Zambia this year to work with the Lighthouse Blessing School in Misisi Compound.  And I shared about the upcoming trip to Loreto, Peru where we will be preaching and teaching the fourth Bi-Annual Pastors and leaders conference!  After the mission report I shared a message on “Thou Art Loosed”.  One woman who came to the altar was trembling.  She was so bound from some many things that she could not even look up.  We could see the agony and torment on her face!  We could hear her pain as she cried!  As she began to call on Jesus she fell to her knees and God began to set her free.  She grabbed onto my hand like a person who was drowning in the sea and found a lifeline!  The more God touched her the freer she became!  The Lord moved in such a beautiful way this morning!

Sunday night started the tent revival.  There was a group of ladies called "The Daughters of God” who sang many great songs.  Soon after that Rev. Mancini preached a powerful message on the two gifts God has given to man.  He talked about your will and your faith and it is your choice how you will use them but God intended for us to surrender our will to His perfect will and to put our faith in Him.  The altar was lined up with people seeking God.  One young man was on his knees just weeping and crying out to God.  Another man just really surrendered to God.  God was reaching out to people all day.  It is His desire to set people free and to save and deliver souls.

The Bible says in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”  So first of all we need to have faith in God; not in our situation, not in the circumstances and not in all the impossibilities.  We must simply put our faith in God!  Secondly let us come boldy before the throne of grace and make our petitions known.  Bring your problems to God; bring your situation to God.  Before you talk to anybody else, take a minute and talk to God first!  Telling other people won’t change the outcome but telling the One who has the power to say, “It is finished” means victory is ahead!  The Bible tells us He rewards the diligent seekers.  That means He rewards people who pursue Him, people who are persistent no mater what they face, they will not give up or quit until they touch or get an answer from God.  So I want to encourage you today to be diligent in your seeking!  Don’t you dare give up or quit!  I don’t care how hard it gets!  Hang on to your faith!  Keep pressing in!  Keep seeking Him!  Keep asking Him.  Keep knocking!  For the Bible says, "For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh  it shall be opened."!

God bless you

FREE AT LAST!!

The word secret means to be hidden, to conceal knowledge, to keep inward and not to express, to operate in a confidential manner.  As we all know there are some secrets that are good, like when we are trying to surprise somebody for their birthday or bachelor party so we don’t tell what we are doing, that would be considered a good secret.  But there are also bad secrets.  Those secrets are from the times that something bad has happened to you or somebody else and you hide it and conceal it and you don’t tell anyone what has happened.  Sometimes we don’t tell out of fear and sometimes we don’t tell because of the shame of what has happened to us and we don’t what anyone to know.  Those types of secrets are bad secrets which can severely alter and destroy you or somebody elses' life.  The reason I am bringing this to your attention today is because at a church where I was invited to minister, I personally witnessed God uncover secrets that held people prisoners for years.  One lady, about 70 years old, came crying to the altar because as a young girl something horrible happened to her and she never told anyone; she just lived with it and carried the pain and the guilt of it.  As a result it affected her entire life.  But when the truth of God’s Word came to her telling her that she could be free, she got up out of her seat as fast as she could and came to the altar crying out to God.  She cried out in desperation and told the secret that held her captive for 62 years and God instantly set her free!

Another man came to the altar telling us how he was raped and abused throughout his childhood and all the anger and hatred that was built up in his heart had destroyed jobs and relationships and even caused him to be angry with God.  But now, 20 years later the secret is out and God reached into this man’s soul and took away the hurt, the guilt, the pain and the shame.  He was free!  He was loosed from the shackles that held him to a lie!  He said, “I am ready now to live life the way God intended for me to live. I am free from the pain of my past!”

There where others who where hurt by strangers, close family members and some that were physical abused and could no longer trust anyone at all.  These were all things hidden behind a door in their lives.  And because they survived the horrible event, it was easier to shut the door and move on than to deal with the reality of who did it and what happened.  They just left the issue behind a closed door and tried to forget.  But the door began to show up in every room of their lives.  It affected their attitudes, their relationships, and how they dealt with and treated others.  And even what they thought about God and themselves where all affected by this door called secrets.  It robs innocent people of living a full and complete life in God because it ties them to a past and never lets them go.  But the good news is that you don’t have to keep that secret anymore.  There is a God that loves you and He wants to help you.  He understands your hurt, He knows your pain and He is standing with His arms stretched out wide saying, "Whosoever will can come unto me."  Don’t allow yourself to be a prisoner to that secret any longer!  You don’t have to be the victim forever; you can be the victor!  Many people were set free from dark secrets that have held them captives for years.  You have to break the silence and tell the secret.  You may have to run to your counselor; you may have to tell the authorities, you may have to tell your pastor.  Whatever it takes, break the silence!  Let go of the secret and be free!  The Bible says that he that the Son of God sets free is free indeed!  The songwriter said, “I’m free from the fears of tomorrow.  I’m free from the guilt of the past.  I’ve traded my shackles for a glorious crown.  I AM FREE; PRAISE THE LORD, FREE AT LAST!

God bless you!
