Let us go and see!

One of the greatest messages that I have ever heard is about those wise men that left their homes and followed a star. They knew that a king was born and they brought gifts to lay before him.

The shepherds had a different experience because as they were tending to their flocks by night, the angel of the Lord appeared and the glory of the Lord shone round about.  This angel came with a message that would change the world forever.  In Luke 2:10-12 “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”

Wow, what an awesome message that was and if that was the only thing that happened it would be enough to rejoice about!  But there’s more, the Bible goes on to say in Luke 2: 13-14 “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men”  Heaven got so excited about the good news that the angelic choir had to break out in song!

Why did they get excited?  Because the One who would save humankind from sin, the One who would heal the sick, deliver the captives, break bondages and chains off of peoples lives, He was born!  The answer to every problem, the remedy was here!  Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God was born!  Born for you and I; born that we may live and have life more abundantly; born to bring us into the presence of God!  The greatest Gift to man had taken His first breath!

In Luke 2:15 it says “And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.” Once the shepherds found out He was here they said ‘Lets go now! We have got to see this for ourselves, the Saviour is born!’

That’s how I felt when I heard the good news that Jesus was born.  I said “Lets go now, I have to see this for myself.”  And the day I sought after Him, I found Him!  But He was no longer a baby in a manager.  He grew up and went about doing good; healing and delivering those that were oppressed of the devil.  He gave his life on Calvary and shed His blood for the remission of our sins and rose again with all power.

This Gift has given me joy, health, strength and peace!  That precious new life that God had given to the world is now in my heart and I have this gift with me all the time.  And now everywhere I look I can see Jesus!

I see Him at the altar when a soul is being saved
I see Him in my Pastor when she preaches the word of God
I hear Him when the choir sings
I see Him in the tears of brothers and sisters who give to the mission fields
I see Him on the smiles of children that have food to eat in Africa
I hear Him in the laughter of boys and girls that are able to go to school
I feel him in the embrace of thankful Pastors in the jungles of Peru
I hear him in the sounds of the waters traveling down the Amazon River

This year, as you celebrate the birth of our Saviour, I want to encourage you to give generously to missions, for by doing so you will cause someone to experience the joy of Christmas each and everyday of their lives.

On behalf of our Missions Ministry, Thank You & May you have Very Merry Christmas and most blessed New Year!

Dominican Republic - God Did So Many Great Things

God did so many great things while on our visit to Dominican Republic - it's hard to capture it all in words, but here are just a few more great things that He did!
One day we went tracting in the Haitian village.  Young girls who attend the main church were excited because their unsaved families invited us in to pray with them.   People started lining up for prayer in the street.  God moved and we invited people out to church. Two souls that we testified to on the street came to church that night and the church was free as the power of God came down in the worship.  The church exploded as God really moved.

We have been having several different 2-night revival meetings in Pastor Apolinaria’s various churches.  In one church the local pastor seemed a little discouraged, telling us not to expect many people to attend the meeting.  He shared that many people in his congregation stay home during the Christmas season.  But God filled the church that night!  Several souls came to Christ for salvation; others that had left serving the Lord came back to Him.  As we prayed for the children the presence of God came upon then so quickly.  At one point about 30 children were slain out on the floor under the presence of God.  What a beautiful night in His House!

A great testimony:  Last December when we were here, one of the local pastor’s wife was quite thin and weak due to many pressures she was under, she now has gained weight, is full of joy, and looks strong and very happy.

It has been such a blessing to join the young people who, most nights, sit outside Pastor Apolinaria’s church talking over the Word of God until past midnight.

One night I (Rev. Teachman) greeted the church in English so Sis. Candy could understand, and then in Spanish for most of the people, and then I also greeted them in Creole for the Haitian members of the church.  When I gave the Creole greeting, one sister shouted out for joy – what a blessing!   On that same service, Sis. Candy sang a song in English and all the people joined her in Spanish.  She also shared a powerful testimony of something that happened to her while on this trip:  Her nose had become infected and it seemed that a small growth was forming inside of her nose.  It was red and painful and only continued to get worse.  Well, she went to pray for a woman who was in great pain in her feet.   While praying for this woman, God instantly healed Sis. Candy, and a small piece of flesh came out of her nose and the swelling and redness left!!  What a miracle!  God sent the Holy Spirit down like a fire in that service; people were rejoicing all over the place.

God bless you from the Dominican Republic - Thank you for all your prayers!

The Lord is Moving in Dominican Republic

The Pastor sends us out to many of the local homes to pray for the people some are members of her church, and some are not. We went to the home of a sister that the Lord raised from the dead back in June. She is eating better and she praised the Lord with us as we prayed.  In one home the power of God came upon the children, and all three children were slain out on the floor under God´s power. At that point a family member walked in who was not saved, we asked could we pray for her, she said yes, and the power of God also descended upon her. God gave me a very strong word in tonight's meeting, as he was dealing with many lives especially the youth.  Here as well as else where, there is a very strong pull to go back into the world and many people are in the valley of decision. God gave witness to the Word that He gave me to speak as a very strong presence of God and anointing came upon me, and it come upon those that we prayed for. This power came mightily upon many people as God was dealing deep in their hearts.  Candy has been teaching the children English songs, she has also been teaching the children how to make paper mache flowers and other arts and crafts. Candy has been as happy as I have ever seen her in my life. When she sang in the service tonight the presence of God filled the church. Even though it was English and the people didn´t understand the words they were praising the Lord.

God bless everyone with all our love from the Dominican Republic

Dominican Republic- Candy's Words

What a blessing to be back in the Dominican.
We have been greeted with much love.  It has been raining every day and unemployment is very high here. A lot of the men were discouraged because there is no work. Pastor Apolinaria said we were right on time. Everyone needed the encouragement and strength!  Souls are getting saved and others are recommitting their lives. Many new souls have been added to the church. We went up a mountain to see where land has been donated to start a church. We had service in a home there that had great needs. We prayed and God moved. Torrential rains came and we walked down the mountain which was now all mud in the dark. Some places had a sheer drop. God´s guiding presence was with us. We sang "Marching on in the Light of God" coming down the mountain. The next day we went house to house praying for souls - a 10 year-old boy came with us and carried his Bible and read scriptures. He wants to be an evangelist. We went into homes and prayed for people who were not saved. They all received prayer and were really touched. The women at the front desk to our hotel all want to come out to church. Please pray the rain stops so we can have revival meetings outside. God is on the move.

Love in Christ,
Candy Teachman

Dominican Republic - Trip Beginning

We arrived safely in the Dominican Republic. When Pastor Apolinaria met us she was so happy that when she hugged Candy, she hugged her so hard she broke part of her glasses (no worries - they are fixable!).  When we went to walk into the church we heard the music playing, the singing and the shouting coming through the open windows and the front door of the church. The music is heard in the church yard and all the homes closely surround the church. The meeting was wonderful as the Holy Spirit was falling upon the people.  Candy and I sang a song; "I Give Myself Away", which everybody loved.  At the altar call the power of God was coming upon all the people. Typically when someone comes to Christ in this country the presence of God comes upon them immediately as they call upon the name of the Lord. This happened tonight as a woman came to Christ; as soon as she called upon the name of the Lord, the presence of God came upon her and she was slain out under the power of God.  We are full of joy from receiving the love and kindness of the pastor and all her people and feeling the presence of God in a powerful way.

God Bless you!

The Lord is doing great things!

My Family and I traveled to Auburn, Maine to preach and share mission reports at Christ Temple Church of God in Christ. We knew God was going to move but we had no idea how much God was going to do in this service! When we arrived we were greeted by Pastor Jackson and soon after it was time for church. The congregation is very friendly. The church has a good mixture of black, white and Spanish people that love and care for one another. You can really see the Love of God in this church.

The song service was excellent! The choir was awesome! After the choir finished with their second song it was time for the mission report. I shared about our recent trip to Loreto, Peru which really blessed the people. After the mission report I preached a message titled “He’s bringing it all together”. As I preached the Holy Ghost moved in a powerful way! There was a lady in the second to the back row and God sowed me that she had given up on life; she felt as if everything had fallen apart and she could not fix it. But God told her that what she could not do, if she gave it all over to HIM, He could do it and more. This woman lifted up her hands in surrender to God and the Holy Ghost came upon her mightily and she fell out under the power of God! Then the woman beside her began to give her burden over to Jesus! This lady was in a deep depression.  She had came up from down south because she lost her home and was living in a shelter with her family and could not find any help. She came up here only to be back in a shelter. But today she did not have to look for help because help had come to her! Jesus came down like a gentle rain up on this mother and she began to cry as the power of God moved on her and all of a sudden the love of God smashed through her depression and she started shouting and dancing and talking in tongues. Then the power of God hit her husband and then her daughter and then her son. God was delivering and touching her entire family!

As God was moving on this family the Holy Ghost was moving all over the church! One man came to the altar and I said to him “God said it is time that you stop running and surrender.” I went on to tell him that I see him with bags all over him. The man said, “I lost my home and I am homeless. I was passing by with everything I owned on my back in bags but I came to church today.” I told him that the biggest bag he was carrying was a drug addiction and it is time to let God break that habit and be delivered once and for all. The man fell to the floor crying! He began to cry out that he lost his children, his family, and his job! He called on that power, the name of Jesus and the Holy Ghost began to shake his hands and then his shoulders and them he hit the floor under the power of God and got up a brand new man! So many things had happened in this service that time would not allow me to tell it all. So many young people were saturated in the Holy Ghost!  As the people were praying this one sister got up and started prophesying. She was prophesying to all the dry bones in her life! She said no more! No more depression, no more defeat, no more poverty! We are going to get a home, we are going to get jobs, and we are gong to serve God! This woman started preaching what she believed! As she spoke the Spirit of God moved through the church in waves! The power of God was all over the church! My wife Abigail was praying for people and God was touching them through her life! It was just awesome! People were everywhere crying, shouting and talking in tongues! God was in the house and He was making His presence known. Near the end of the altar call we started singing a victory song. My two sons Melvin jr. who is 5 years old and Isaiah who is 2 years old came running down the isles dancing and jumping to the music! Well they were so excited that I started dancing with them. So all over the church we were shouting and dancing and glorifying God!

I know this blog was a little long but I can’t end without telling you that no matter what you are going through or facing, no matter how broken it may seem to you the potter wants to put you back together again! So no matter how you feel don’t you dare give up on God! Trust him and seek Him. He has the answer to your problem, He knows what you are going though and if you let Him He will help you! God is a good God and He wants to take all the broken shatters pieces of your life, your dreams, your health and your families and bring to you the love, salvation, healing and restoration you need to be whole!

God bless you

God is moving in Oviedo! - Last Day

Tonight we returned to the first church we visited, Evangelica Evangelista, for their regular Sunday service, and tonight this church was filled with around 80 people, and the people were ready to meet with God!

After the worshipful song service, we had a real treat.  The pastor introduced a member of his church who is of gypsy origin.  He shared that this man has played his guitar all over the world, even before royalty in England.  Well, all we can say is, WOW, can this guy play Spanish guitar!  He was strumming a melody while picking notes out, while drumming on the side of his guitar with his hand - all at the same time.  He was singing a song from Psalms, lifting up the Lord.  What a talented individual, using His gift to glorify God.  Please pray at home everyone, because Pastor Rubiales wants to bring him to our conference!  :)

I ministered on “The Word of God”, using John 1:1-3.  I talked about how our entire life has been destined by the Word of God, and if we walk with God and stay filled with the Holy Spirit, everything in His plan will come to pass.  There is nothing that God will withhold from us if we walk according to His Word.  The church responded tremendously to the Word of God!

When I gave the call for salvation, two souls answered, and I had Pastor and an elder pray with them.  I gave another call to anyone who wanted to walk with God according to His Word, and 20-30 people came.  Glory to God!

One young man came with his wife, and through the interpreter, he told me that he had gotten away from God, and he wanted to renew his life.  We prayed for him and God began to restore him, he began repenting and crying, and his wife was crying and praising God.  I asked him how he felt & he said "I got Jesus back in my life!"  I asked him about their work, and found out that she is a doctor, and he is an architect, but he is unemployed at this time.  We joined hands and prayed together that God would bless him with a job.  We know God is going to move on this because of this young man’s decision to walk with God again!

Meanwhile, elders were praying for others, and the Pastor brought several people to us for prayer for special needs.  At this time I sat at the altar, praying for their needs.  I felt as Jesus must have felt when they brought people to Him for pray; how humbling and truly blessed I felt.  I know God surely met many needs.

This whole week we felt that we were walking in the footsteps of Jesus.  I often thought of the great apostle Paul’s desire to come here to minister, and now I know why he had a burden.  These people are so sincere to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Pastor Rubiales was so grateful for our visit, and will continue to keep in touch with us.

He personally drove us to the airport the next day so he could talk some more with us.  We had a chance to chat more about the gypsy church, so we would have a greater understanding about them.  He explained about why they worship the way they do, why the men and women sit separately.  It is due solely to the customs of their gypsy heritage.   He said that the pastor of that church really has a heart for God and apologized that we did not have more time, and that he appreciated the message that was brought.  It was hard to say goodbye to Pastor Rubiales and Pastor Ros, who also drove the Robles family.  We know that our hearts will be together in prayer and in the work of God no matter how many miles separate us.

Matt and I would like to once again, with a grateful heart like thank our pastor, Pastor Kalinsky, and our church in Manchester and all the other prayer warriors who have read this blog.  Your prayers and giving made a difference in the Oviedo area.  Please continue to pray for this pastor and these great people that God will continue to move and use them to win the lost!

God Bless you with heart-felt thanks,
Rev. Mancini

God is moving in Gihon, Spain!

When we arrived, Pastor Rubiales took us on a tour of the church.  The sanctuary holds about 150 people.  It is a beautiful church, nicely decorated, very inviting.  The musicians were on the platform playing, people were very happy and worshiping God.  He took us to the hall next door, almost as big as the church, where we saw the Sunday School rooms, and his office, and men's/lady's rooms.  This space he rents, and he is asking for prayer that they are able to purchase this space, because they need to expand the church sanctuary.  The Sunday School rooms look like ours back home, even down to the little chairs!  It is a beautiful facility!  He was so proud to show us around and you can see the great vision that is alive here in Gihon.

When we went into the service, the place was packed, and people were even standing outside!  We met the young girl that I prayed for at the Aunar church.  She was so happy and free, with the biggest smile on her face.  She and her parents were so happy to see us and shared how blessed they feel – God truly is working in their lives.  We also met another woman that we had prayed for at the Aunar church; this was the woman that was discouraged because she was having problems with her daughter.  Today when she saw us, she started jumping up and down.  I gave her the thumbs up and she said “Si!”, which means “YES!”  You could see all over that she got the victory, and had such joy on her face!  It was so neat to see these people again because often times when you preach from church to church, you don't get to see the fruit of your labor; but, today we got a glimpse of what God is accomplishing here in Spain and we are so excited.

When the worship started, we felt like we were home in Manchester!  Their musicians played skillfully, and you could feel the presence of God.  Our music ministry and our youth would be ecstatic if they could hear this group of young people worship God and bring down His presence.  There was no one over thirty years of age, and some were teenagers, but you could feel the power of God.  This church worships!

I ministered from Eph 3:20:  “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” focusing on the power that worketh in you.  I ministered on the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit, which empowers us to be effective Christians in every aspect of our life, and how God is going to raise the church in power to win the lost.  The church responded and was with me all throughout the message.  I gave an altar call for salvation first, and 3 people came & accepted the Lord as their Savior!  Then I gave the call to those who wanted to be more empowered by God, and many people started coming.  I started praying with people, and Pastor Rubiales asked for anyone who wanted to speak in tongues to come up now, and more people came.  One lady came and we began to pray, and she began speaking in tongues and fell out under the power of the Holy Ghost!  As we looked around, many people were speaking in tongues, and glorifying God.  The pastor and his leaders were praying for people everywhere, it was amazing!

I prayed for another young girl who had a desire to be filled with the Holy Ghost, and speak in tongues.  As I was praying, she was intently praising God and I asked her if she felt Jesus on the inside, and she said,  “Yes!”  I told her that means that she has the Spirit of God right now, and all she has to do is let it overflow.  I took a cup that was empty, and started filling it with water.  I said you can have this much of the Holy Ghost, filling it half way, or you can have this much, filling it to the top.  With permission from the pastor, I let the cup overflow onto the tile floor, and she understood that she could seek God for the overflow.  Hallelujah!  God continued to bless her as my interpreter continued to pray with her.

Near the end of the altar call, Pastor asked the musicians to play my favorite song, Tu er es Todo Poderoso (You are Full of Power); which happens to be a song I learned in Peru.  I got a mic and sang with them, and the church got so excited.  The power of God was so strong, and His joy filled the church!  What a tremendous service we had!

In talking with Pastor we found out that this work in Gihon was a work he birthed.  It started with just a few souls, and it has grown over the last couple of years to approximately 150 in attendance.  The other church in Oviedo he took on as pastor after Sis. Mado's husband died.  He is working with that church to bring them to the same place that the Gihon church is. He also birthed the church in Aunar along with Pastor Cicho and sister Mili.  The Candas church was also birthed from his ministry.  You could see that the church at Gihon is where the vision goes forth from.  We have just fallen in love with this Pastor's heart and his work.

After the meeting, we met a Nigerian couple that attend this church and are so exuberant for God.  We also met a family from Australia who are members of his church, who have come here permanently, and have a great burden to reach out to the un-churched youth in this area and they are doing a fantastic job.

This church is multicultural, with lots of youth, middle-aged and elderly; all different kinds of people.  We felt like we were at home in Manchester!  Truly this Pastor's heart and the heart of our church are the same.

Thank you so much for your prayers ~ we have surely felt them throughout this trip.

We have one more meeting tonight, back at the Oviedo church.  We know God is going to do great things.

God Bless,
Rev Mancini

Saturday Night: Gypsy Church Service

Pastor Rubiales was needing a rest, so we went with Sister Mado and Rev. & Sis. Robles to this church called Evangelica Inglesia Filadelfia, of whom the pastor, Pastor Arturo is a ministry friend of Pastor Rubiales.

When we got to the church, we were warmly greeted by some of the elders.  The pastor had not yet arrived.  We were escorted in and seated on the men's side of the church.  This church believes in seating the men and women separately, which historically is what the early Corinthian church did.  The place was buzzing with excitement as the musicians began to play.  The church was full; there were approximately 300 people in attendance, including many children.  Rev. Robles explained to us that this church is unique in that all in attendance here are Spanish gypsies, and are an extremely close-knit community.  When we met the pastor, we found out he is a new pastor and not the pastor that Rev. Robles knew from a year ago.  He began by apologizing to us and told us that we only would have about 30 minutes to minister, because there was a special event after the service.

The worship service started and I can honestly say that I have never been in a worship service quite like this before!  The lights in the auditorium were turned off, except for a light shining on the podium, where the pastor was standing.  Then the music ministry took over.  The lead singer and musicians played wonderfully.  I have never heard any lead singer sing like he did.  Interestingly, the singers were all seated, and in their seats on the side of the platform.  The pastor stood at the podium, with his hands raised, exhorting the people to worship the Lord.  No one in the church stood or sang, but were worshiping quietly in their seats.  Not even the singers moved.  I almost felt like we were in an old testament setting, where the high priest called for the musicians to come, and led worship.  During this worship, I could feel their sincerity and honesty in their singing.  People were truly praying and worshiping God.  It was very different than anything I have ever experienced.

After the pastor’s introduction, and Rev. Robles sharing in song and testimony, I was left with only 22 minutes to preach!  I shared a simple message on faith, and how faith can move the hand of God in your life, and if you need salvation, strength and help, you can receive it according to God's promises.  This church does not hold altar calls, so I asked them to pray to God right in their seats, and many began to pray.  As the pastor closed out the service, he had Bro. Matt Wesson to pray the closing prayer.

While heading back to catch a cab, the Pastor caught up to us and apologized that we did not have more time, but there had been a death in the church, and this was the reason for the shortened service.  (Please pray for their comfort and strength in this time of loss.)  Due to the circumstances, we were unable to spend much time getting to know this pastor and his ministry in a deeper way.  It is our prayer to somehow connect again, and that our time spent with them was an encouragement.

Once again, we thank you for your prayers; it has truly been and adventure!
God Bless,
Rev. Mancini

Spain: This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us Rejoice and be glad in it!

Before we went to our 3rd meeting, we accompanied Pastor Luis Rubiales to the hospital to visit two members of his church and to pray with them.  (we realized that he does not use his last name Aguado, but Rubiales; so from now on we will address him as Pastor Rubiales).  They were so excited to meet us and the pastor had us pray for them.  We really felt the presence of God minister to their souls.  We believe that they will have a speedy recovery.  It was wonderful to see the heart of Pastor Rubiales for his people; he is a true pastor.

3rd Meeting at the Aunar Drug Rehab Center in Gihon

Aunar is a Christian-based organization working along with the hospitals to rehabilitate drug addicts through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is located on approximately 4 acres of land, which includes a small farm, with cattle, chickens, and a beautiful facility, which is the center for the approximately 50 men and women, who come here for spiritual help.  This facility offers free housing, food, clothing, and also workshops where the residents can work to support themselves while they are here.  They take in clothing, furniture and electronics donations and prepare them to resell to help support the facility.  The facility is run solely on donations and what they can sell, with no government help.  However, the government refers those with no other means to this facility, because they know that they will be helped.  Aunar has many locations in the country of Spain, and are run by dedicated leaders such as Pastor Chuchos and his wife Mili Bernardo, and family.

These directors sacrifice their time and efforts to run this facility, and live off of the same revenue that’s raised for the work.  Both of these beautiful people were once drug addicts themselves, found Christ as their Savior and were delivered, and now they have completely dedicated their lives to helping those in the same condition that they once were.

Pastor Chicho runs the men's dormitory, which is housed in the main facility, and Sister Mili runs the womens dormitory, which is another area.  While speaking with them, we felt their dedication and compassion.  We found that they and their family share a house with four others so that they can afford to focus completely on this great work.

Pastor Aguado comes here weekly to minister, preach and teach the Gospel in a sanctuary built in this facility.  Pastor's Chico's wife Mili, his son, and his assistant pastor and wife lead the worship services, and they are extremely talented worship leaders, as we found out tonight.

When we went into our service, these worship leaders brought down they glory of God in a way we cannot even describe.  All we can say is that God's presence was rich in this place.  Bro Matt left his testimony before I ministered and the people responded tremendously, and they were ready to hear the word of God!

Once again, my friend Rebecca from the Candas church translated for me.  Also in attendance were Rebecca's Parents, Pastor Salvadore Ros and his wife, as well as other members from the Gihon church.  In all, there were approximately 60-70 people in attendance, the majority being the residents of the facility.

I preached from Psalms 8:3 “What is Man that thou art mindful of him?”  I talked about the two great gifts that God has given to every man; a will and faith.  Only we can choose what we’re going to believe in.  As I ministered the people responded, praising God, listening intently.  Then it came time for the altar call!  My first call was for salvation.  About five men came forward- old and young.  Each one received Christ into their heart.  Then I gave an altar call for those to come who need a touch from God, and approximately 25 people came.

Time would prevent us from sharing all that happened.  I called for the pastors to come and pray for the many that came down.  One young girl about 13 or 14, came with tears in her eyes, asking that Jesus would save her and help her parents, who both live in this facility.  She is living with her mother at the women's home, and she wants her family free and back together.  I called her mother who was sobbing behind her, and her father came also.  I could see that her mother was really hurting, and the Holy Spirit impressed me to tell her that even though she has this problem, she is still a good mother and loves her daughter.  She broke down sobbing, and then I asked her, Has Jesus forgiven you of your sin?”  She said yes, and I told her she doesn’t have to carry the guilt that she let down your family anymore.  The biggest smile came on her face; you could feel the Holy Ghost coming upon her, and she began to praise and magnify the Lord.  I joined hands with her, her husband, and daughter, and we prayed for God's complete victory for their lives, and that God would restore their home.

While others were being prayed for, the center’s assistant pastor’s daughter asked for prayer because her job was very difficult, and she was being tempted to sin.  She was having trouble making a stand.  I reminded her of what I ministered tonight, that she has a will and has faith, and tonight she could live for God no matter what!  I shared a situation from when I was working out in the world, and how God turned it around when I took a stand.  We prayed and she made that choice for Jesus!

Pastor Ros's daughter, Rebecca came crying, asking if I would pray with her concerning God's will for her life; she is not sure how to proceed.  She feels a great calling on her life, and does not know if she should go to college, or what?  She wants to do God's will for her life.  I ministered to her that she is doing God's will right now as a worship leader at her church, helping the youth, and her father (the pastor) in every capacity.  I told her that she was just like Samuel; he started the same way; and look what God did with his life!  Her parents were there laying hands on her.  I told her to listen to the direction of her pastor, and her mother, and listen to them about how to proceed.  I told her to give it all to God and he will direct your path.  Then we all prayed for her, that God's perfect will would be done in her life-and she gave it all to Jesus!

These are just a few examples of what God did in so many lives tonight.  It was an altar call just like we have at home.  Many needs were met tonight!  They definitely have church in this place!

Please keep all of these leaders and their families in your prayers.  They are sold out to the work of God.

Tomorrow, we will be visiting the Gypsy church!  We anticipate great things and we covet your prayers.

God Bless,
Rev. Mancini

Spain - 2nd Meeting: visit to the Candas church!

The Candas church is in a fishing village on the northern coast, about 1/2 hr away from Oviedo.

This church was started three months ago and have been in their new church building only a month and a half.  It is a rented space and they are working on turning it into a church sanctuary.  It was rustic, but you could feel their excitement for God here.  We met the pastor, Salvador Ros, and their wonderful family.  This pastor works under Pastor Luis Aguado's ministry, and is doing a fantastic job in this church.

We met many of the members as they came in, and they have a happy, wonderful church!  We even met the “Ricky Brousseau” of their church!  This man is just like a brother back in our home church that everyone loves.  His son Samuel and his daughter Rebecca led the worship service and you could feel a beautiful presence of God as everyone was worshipping and praising God.

I ministered on “A Right Now Salvation”, from II Cor. 6:1, about how now is the accepted time, and today is the day of salvation!  The Pastor's daughter, Rebecca, interpreted for me and did a fantastic job!  She moved like me, spoke like me and preached like me!  I explained how God did not send his Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved!

As I continued ministering, the people responded, and weh I said that if you need something from God he will do it right now, and that if you were sick, God can heal you right now, Pastor Ros raised his hand because he was sick.  Well, we prayed and God healed him!  After that God started really moving among the people, and I gave a salvation altar call.

The first one to come was a boy about 11 years old named Fernando.  Through pastor Aguado, I asked him if he wanted to be saved, and he said yes!  I led him to the Lord, and he gave his heart to Jesus!  I asked him if he felt Jesus, and he said yes.  Pastor Ros came and told me that this is the first time he ever answered the altar for salvation since he has started coming.

Then, I had all those at the altar to join hands, and I shared with them how much it blessed me to be here with them, and how this church reminded me of the humble beginnings of our church back home, and how God has blessed us over the years, and how we have grown to what we are today.  I encouraged them that God is going to bless this church also, and they will grow, and I strongly urged them to go out and to win the lost.  When I asked who is going to testify and win the lost, they responded with a cheer!  Then we prayed together, for one another, for the Pastor and his family, that God would continue to move in this church.

After the service, the young boy Fernando would not leave my side.  His older brother Jefferson, who is 15, also came and hugged me.  The church came and greeted me, but these two would not leave my side.  Jefferson then asked me,  "Can I come with you to America, to see your church?"  I felt in my heart that it was because of what he saw and felt, that he wanted the same power and move of God in his life.  I told him that he has a great church and a great pastor right here, and to stay in his church, and learn all you can about Jesus, and someday maybe you will be able to come a visit with your Pastor.  There was something special about these two young men.  I know God has great things for them.

We are so excited about our next meeting!  On Friday night, we are going to a drug rehab center in Gihon, that has 50 men and women, getting rehabilitated.  We met the directors of this home in our meeting tonight-Sister Mili and Brother Chicho.  Pastor Aguado has been coming to this center on a weekly basis for some time.  It is so exciting to know that we will be preaching the gospel here.

Once again, thank you so much for praying.  God is certainly moving in Oviedo!
God Bless,
Rev. Mancini

First Meeting in Oviedo,Spain, Wed night, 11/9/11

The first meeting was a regular weekly prayer meeting, where Rev. Robles greeted the church and introduced us.  Then we went to prayer.  We are happy to report that we felt like we were at home at our own prayer meetings.  The pastor was leading prayer in the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, and the church was praying in total unity with him.  You could feel the presence of God.  The pastor is a wonderful worship leader and singer, playing his guitar and brought the presence of God into the service.  There were approximately 40 people attended this prayer meeting.

Then it was time for God's word!  Sister Mado interpreted while I preached from Isaiah 60:1 ~ “Arise and Shine”;  and, how this is the church’s opportunity to use what God has given us to win the lost and to support the pastor and the ministry so that souls can be saved.  The church responded wholeheartedly, and the pastor was very excited.  The presence of God was so strong, and the Holy Spirit pointed out to me a lady sitting in the audience who needed to be set free from her heavy burdens.  I called to her and asked her what her name was, I told her that God wanted to free her from her heavy burdens, and she began sobbing in her seat.  I called her down to the front and prayed with her and told her to just give it to Jesus, and God met there at the altar, so much so that she fell out under the presence of God, and the pastor had to catch her!  While praying for her, I told her that Jesus would forgive her of every sin, and to let it go right now, and she fell out under the presence of God

So then I gave an alter call for anyone who wanted to come and meet with God.  A young man came crying, with his hands raised up.  I asked him what he wanted God to do for him.  He said that he wanted to renew his first love.  When we laid our hands on him, he began speaking in tongues, and he also fell out under the power of the Holy Ghost.

Another lady came for prayer, because she desperately needed a job.  (Later, we found out that there is 40% unemployment in Oviedo, and the young people are leaving - please pray)  When we prayed, we could feel that if God had to create a job for her He would!  She got so blessed in the Holy Ghost.

Then we called everyone to come around the altar, and to take hold of God's word, to put it into their hearts and do a greater work in this area, and the whole church responded.  During this time, we noticed another lady just sobbing.  We told her to just give it all to Jesus, and she got free in the Lord!  Truly, God moved in this church, and they are a people that want to see God move in their area!

We had a wonderful fellowship afterward with the pastor and his wife, the Robles Family, and sister Mado.  We found out that the pastor really believes in the full Gospel like we do, and he is already making plans to come to our May 2012 minister's conference.

Thursday night, I will be ministering at a new work this pastor has recently stated in a small fishing village called Candas.  Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

God Bless you all

Spain is Ripe for Revival

WWLM is excited to announce that the Associate Pastor of our church (Full Gospel Interdenominational Church), Rev. Salvatore Mancini, along with a faithful brother, Matthew Wesson, are joining our ministry friend, Rev. John Robles on a trip to Spain to bring revival through God's Word!  God is doing great things, we just wanted to share with you...

Hello from Oviedo Spain!

In Romans 15:28, the apostle Paul states his desire to bring the gospel to Spain.  However, history does not record that he was ever able to fulfill this dream.  But God has given us the opportunity to bring His precious Word to this nation.  In our prayers, we want to fulfill this dream that Paul had and that Jesus Christ has to reach the people in this area of the world.

For those of you who may not know, we (Rev. Mancini & Bro. Matt Wesson) are with Rev. John Robles and his family here in Oviedo, Spain, which is located on the northern coast.  (Rev Robles is the president of Operation Latin America.  Over the past 5 years, he has been coming to encourage the work in this area.  He asked me if I would come and minister here.)  We are here to preach and teach in 4 different churches (including an all-gypsy church!) and a drug rehab center; teaching church structure, reverence of the pastoral ministry, and to lift up and encourage the body of Christ, and win the lost.  It is also our mission to help strengthen and encourage the overseeing pastor of the work here;s Pastor Luis Manuel Rubiales Aguado, and the late pastor's wife sister Mado Fernandes.

Our journey began November 7th, 2011.  Even before we left Connecticut, we faced our first challenge.  Our connecting flight from Bradley to Philadelphia was cancelled.  This threatened to disrupt the schedule for our entire trip.  Thank God for all those who are praying for us, for God opened another door to take a twin-prop plane from New Haven to Philadelphia, and still make our flight to Madrid.  (We didn't even know there was an airport in New Haven, and US Air was the only service out of that airport!)  Praise God for providing a way!

We arrived in Madrid on time and then faced our second challenge!  Unbeknownst to us, Rev. Robles’ flight was delayed.  In the case that we did not meet him at the airport, we were to meet him at the hotel.  So now we are on our own at Madrid airport and in a country we have never been to.  We called our hotel to arrange a shuttle, only to find out that there is none!  Not having our interpreter with us, it was difficult to determine the correct cab fare or a bus to the hotel.  (The taxi drivers would not take us, because it wasn't far enough for a high fare!)  This is why it is so important to have a pastor and church like ours that is praying for us, for God once again provided a miracle!

While we were pondering our situation at the shuttle stop, we talked to a businesswoman who was waiting for her shuttle.  We asked her where her shuttle was going, hoping that it might be on the route to our hotel.  She told us that the Holiday Inn was right across the street from the Crown Plaza, where she was staying, and that she would ask her shuttle driver if he would drop us at our hotel.  But, when she called her shuttle driver, he was stuck in traffic!  She told us to come with her, that she was hiring a cab, and that her company would pay for it, and we could ride with her for free!  Praise God, but this is not the end of this miracle!  While we were riding to the hotel, we asked what she did, she laughed and said that she worked for the Holiday Inn, and is a general manager for 2 hotels in Portugal, and is here for meetings.  She gave us her business card, and invited us to come visit her at her hotels in Portugal!  We found later that cab fare from the airport runs 20-25 Euros, which is about $30-40 U.S. Dollars.  Praise God for making a way for us again, and thank you, who are praying for us; it is making a difference!

We connected with Rev Robles at the hotel in Madrid, and Tues 11/9, we embarked from Madrid for Oviedo!  When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Pastor Aguado and sister Mado, and brought to our hotel, getting ready for our first service at Pastor Aguado's main church in downtown Oviedo, Iglesia Evangelica.   Keep us in your prayers & we'll be sure to share the good reports with you!

God Bless, Rev. Mancini

O LORD, IN AN ACCEPTABLE TIME: O GOD, IN THE MULTITUDE OF THY MERCY HEAR ME

A great big God Bless you all the way from Chester, PA with the Harvest Time Choir.  After watching God mightily move all day, there is not a shadow of a doubt that we have been sent by God, for such a time as this, to be with Pastor Catherine Jacobs and the Faith Tabernacle Church.
Saturday we began our day with members of the church going out into their community tracting, like mighty warriors for Jesus, letting people on the streets know that Jesus is love and encouraging them to come to the house of God and seek a new or renewed relationship with him.  We ran into one woman outside her home and began talking to her about Jesus. Upstairs a window was open where we could hear yelling and fighting going on.  She looked as if her spirit was broken and had such sadness in her eyes.  We told her that Jesus wanted to change her life and her circumstances.  She knew about Pastor Jacob’s church and told us she would come to one of the services.  She was so close to the church, so we told laughingly told her we'd come & 'get her ourselves' if she didn’t show up, which made her eyes light up as she laughed.  Meanwhile Pastor Kalinsky and Pastor Jacob’s group went door to door.  They came across one home and when the door opened, Pastor Jacob’s got so excited yelling to the young woman at the door, “Oh, I’ve been looking for you!”.  God's perfect timing puts us in the right place, at the right time.  He is an On Time God! The cares of this world had taken this woman out of the house of God, but on this day, God prepared the way in advance to snatch His child out of the hands of the enemy.  Both of these women walked through the doors of the church Saturday night, determined to make a change!
Oh, and as the choir sang song after song, anointed drops from heaven went from a sprinkle to a raging downpour in the church. The church was on their feet, and the Holy Ghost was moving.  We sang “Lord, Whatever You’re doing in this season, don’t do it without me.”  Psalm 69:13 says, “But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.” The woman we met tracting began to weep in her seat choir members went to speak a word to her and pray for her, and God continued to move. He moved from person to person, with people crying and speaking in tongues all over the place.  The woman from Pastor’s group just cried and praised God for the rest of the night. One young lady who had been so bound came to the altar and God set her free, emptying her out, so He could move in.   The church members began to rise up with God’s anointing power and began praying for others, with people screaming, shouting and being loosed from bound chains, getting saturated with the Holy Ghost.
God is not through. We believe Sunday that He has another level He wants to bring this church to.  He has a challenge for Pastor Jacob’s church and looking for whosoever will rise up and take their place in this house of God.
God Bless You & Thank You for Praying

Last Day in Nauta (Peru)

Joy like a River!

The last meeting with the pastors was awesome! We had made so many new friends and had spent so much time praying and crying, laughing and fellowshipping, talking and walking, preaching and shouting, singing and dancing together that we have truly become one. The Bible explains it best when it says in Psalms 133: 1-3 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore."  We all have become one! We are brothers and sisters. It does not matter where we were born or what color our skin was our heavenly Father has joined us together and that brotherhood, that’s strong sense of family that is willing to fight for one another could be felt in the church. All over the church today pastors were praying for one another and speaking words of faith and encouragement to one another! I have never felt such unity. There was healing and power in that unity! Pastors leg pain and back pains disappeared as the love of God flowed from one heart to the other. As the pastors continued to pray the power of God feil in that church and God spoke sweet victory into the lives of many men and women of God! Shouts of praise, tears of gladness, groups hugging together all over the church! There was truly joy like a river and it was flowing all over the church! As the Spirit of God continued to move pastors fell out all over the church under the power of the Holy Ghost! The Lord took eveyr opportunity to saturate His precious people! Saying goodbye was not easy. Many tears where shed! Some of us held on to each other for sometime! Our hearts were joined together, our lives and destinies were connected! But we knew we had to go back and do what God has called us to do. Many pastors will be working together to win their villages! Pastor William will continue to go down the rivers and train! Pastor Gustavo will be back with a team from is church in January 2012 to do youth meetings! And we must continue to give and to pray to keep theses meeting going to give glory to God! The next conference will be in March 2012. We are expecting double and this year the church was packed! So I encourage you to make a generous donation today and invest in the men and women of God in the jungles and you to will have joy like a river!

Love you all! Thank you and God bless you

Victorious Day in Nauta - (Peru)

He poured out His Spirit on all flesh!

Today’s entire meeting was just incredible! From morning to night the Lord just poured out His Spirit without measure upon His sons and daughters here in the jungles! There are many women pastors and leaders that have come for the first time.  We also have many young pastors with us. Every meeting is filled with excitement and great anticipation for God to pour out His Spirit.

There is no way I can accurately describe what happen in this meeting! All I can say is that somewhere in the middle of the preaching The Glory of the Lord came down like I have never seen before! It filled this house with power! Brother Chris said “ It was like a bomb hit this building” People were running and jumping, talking in tongues and shouting! It was unbelievable! Pastor Johnson said “I have never seen the Holy Ghost move so powerfully in all my life, I thought the entire church was going to come down!” As the Spirit of God moved people were being healed, others were being filled! Testimony after testimony came in that God spoke to people, God took people's pain away! And God was not done that was just the beginning! Pastor William said “I have never seen such fire fall in one place, this is what God showed me nine years ago and it has come to pass this nigh.t”  As the Holy Ghost moved, He swept cross the front of the church and then to the back of the church! Old men walked around the church crying and talking in tongues! Young men and women danced before the Lord with great joy! Our old friend Pastor Moises was set free like I have never seen! He was crying and shouting and completely out of control! The Holy Ghost had him running and jumping and dancing and then down he went talking in tongues! When he got up he was another man! A free man! He said “I will never be the same again! Wave after wave of the Holy Ghost moved like fire all over that building! After a long while of the Spirit moving! People were on the floor, on the benches, outside in the doorway! Dancing in the isles, speaking in tongues, praying for one another! I personally felt like God picked up the church and just danced with us all night long! God shook everything in the building that could shake even us! Our meeting started in the afternoon and now it was going on dinner time but no matter what Pastor William did people were still shouting and dancing and talking in tongues! They were staggering like the drunken men and women on the day of Pentecost!  So Pastor William just put the microphone down and threw up his hands and God just has His way! It was past 7pm and God was still moving!

Jesus said you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you! God has filled these pastor and leaders with power from high! I know that some people may say that it does not take all that jumping, shouting, dancing and talking in tongues to reach heaven but all I have to say is this. If you could fell what we felt as the Holy ghost filled with house, Then I know without a doubt that you would have done what we did! Jeremiah said “It ‘s just like fire shut up in bones!"  Oh Glory to God! What American needs is an outpouring of the Holy Ghost! What the world need is an outpouring of the Holy Ghost! And God is ready to pour! The windows of heaven are open and I hear the sound of thee abundance of rain! So whatever you have to do! Let the Holy Ghost rain fall on you and experience the outpouring of the Holy Ghost for yourself! The song writer said “I got it, I got it, there's something about the power of the Holy Ghost! I can’t explain it but I got it! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Oh Glory to God! This is a good time to give God a Praise! Give God some glory! Shout unto God with the voice of triumph! Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

God bless you

FGIChurch Choir is on a Mission!

Our Church (Full Gospel Interdenominational Church) has sent it's Harvest Time Choir down to Chester, Pennsylvania with the mission to encourage a wonderful Pastor & Church in their desire to reach their community with the Gospel of Christ... God is doing such great things on their visit, that we just had to take a minute to share with you....

We bring you greetings from Chester, PA where God is moving by His Spirit!! Our first opportunity to minister started right as we reached our hotel.  Upon entering the hotel lobby, our Pastor, Rev. Eleanor Kalinsky introduced us to a server & asked that we sing her a song.  As we raised our voices, tears began to stream down her face and she put her hand over her heart and said "I can feel it right here!"  God's presence is beautiful.  The first night meeting in the Faith Tabernacle Church was unforgettable.  The choir sang "Something Happens" when you call upon the name of Jesus - and this set the tone for Pastor Kalinsky's powerful message where she talked about the blind Bartemaus who called out to Jesus, "Thou son of David, have mercy on me!!" and to make a long story short, when Jesus finally called unto him, he arose from the place he was sitting in & removed his cloak & walked out to Jesus -- Pastor Kalinsky spoke so powerfully about when we call out to Jesus & he calls back unto us to come, we must remove the cloak - or the the thing that is identifying us with our problem & binding us to our problem - we must remove it & step out in faith and God will take care of the rest!!!  Hallelujah!  God truly moved amongst the people, especially taking time to minister to many of the young people- stirring them to allow God to move in their lives!!     After the service, we had a wonderful time of fellowship and wonderful food, which included the best seafood gumbo we've ever tasted!!!    God is knitting our hearts in His love and a fellowship & friendship like only God can do in such a short time!!  Praise God - continue to pray for us as we ask for God to lead & direct our song, words, life & testimony for the strengthening of this Church, and the deliverance of their community!

My Burdens were rolled away!

God bless you!  This is Pastor Pelayo Pena from El Faro Church in Lima.
It was a great pleasure for me to join Rev. Sanchez on this trip to
Loreto for the Pastors conference. Even thou I was filled with
excitement it was hard to leave my wife and son. Even while I was
traveling I thought of my family and all the things that God is going
to do in our lives.

While we were traveling down the river with Pastor William, he said
that he was driving the new boat for first time and inside of me I
was thinking, “Oh my God, where I am and why am I here?”.  We visited
Vista Alegre (a happy view) and as we traveled down the Ucayali River
God spoke to me and said, "Have faith and stay on the Rock."  That
Word was so powerful that I wasn’t hungry, even when there was
abundance of food. On the way back, the heavy rains started.  It was
cold and uncomfortable but something worse was happening to a pastoral
family that was coming to the conference.  It was so uncomfortable for
me because this pastor and family was stuck in middle of the storm
and the boat was sinking but we were on time to rescue them.

In these two days of the conference God had moved a lot, more than I
ever expected. The Holy Spirit moved with great power but also this
trip is of great value for me - like an entrainment place.  God is
preparing me to do greater things. At night in the preaching God
touched my heart again and I only cried and cried. Now I am realizing
that my burdens have been lifted! I will go back to Lima more light. I
feel like I am leaving a weight behind me because the Holy Spirit is
touching my heart so much. God is moving on many pastors.

Now, there is still more days of conference left and I don’t know what
is going to happen, but one thing I know, is that I will be
transformed into what God wants me to be and He will do the same in a
lot of pastors and leaders here in this conference.  To the Pastor
Kalinsky and the church in the U.S.A, thank you so much for helping me
to come to Nauta, I will never be the same!
God bless you a lot.

Pastor Pelayo Pena

First Day of the Leader's Congress in Nauta

Surviving the Storm!

Today pastors and leaders came from everywhere for the Congress.  Some came by boat, foot, and motorbike.  It took some many days to get here. The amazing thing was everyone was caught up in the tropical storm that hit yesterday. The wind, heavy rain and lighting made traveling very difficult for everyone. It was a wonderful time of hugging and crying. We laughed as we saw one another. It was great seeing our old friends, Moises and Teresa and meeting new friends. There is also a young missionary here from Granby, CT who speaks a little more Spanish than I do (so you know that is not alot) but he left everything at home at 24 years old to obey the call of God and come here for 6 months.
So the church was filled this morning with people from all over. My intention was to greet everyone and then begin to teach but God lead me down another path. I began to talk about the storms of life. Pastor and leaders were weeping and crying. God just reached down to were many of these leaders were and began to heal and encourage His people in deep places that only the Lord knew how to reach! I stand amazed at what the Lord did next because when we came through the storm the power of God hit that church with explosive Holy Ghost power! We survived the storm! We made it to the other side! There is a work for us to do! Pastors and leaders were running and jumping! Dancing and shouting! The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! He swept through the church and many were healed! Some spoke in tongues for the first time! As the saints began to praise God we could no longer hear ourselves speak! Jesus was in our midst and He was doing wonders! For the next hour the Glory of the Lord filled that House! Men and women could no longer stand because the presence of God was so strong! There was a mighty river flowing, a mighty river flowing in this place, and it was full of passion, full of power, full of glory, full of healing and full of grace!
God bless you

2nd Day in Nauta -- On the River

My first Day in the Amazon!

Greetings!  This is Pastor Devin Johnson from Tabernacle of Deliverence and Praise Ministries in Norwich, CT.  It took me four days to join Rev. Sanchez and the mission team in Loreto, Peru.  I had to deal with two flights being changed, my luggage was sent ahead of me, the team had to go on without me, but I was determined to do what God had called me to do and nothing was going to stop or discourage me from obeying God.

It is amazing that no matter where we travel the true people of God, take what they have and make the best out of it!  The truth is God has provided a pulpit everywhere! While on the plane I had the opportunity to sit next to a man who was a fruit vendor from Chile.  He began to tell me about the fruit in Chile and how much of the United States fruit comes from there.  He told how he was in Atlanta, and all the fruit vendors from around the world met there at the conference to establish new accounts in the U.S.  Then the Lord really gave a vision or more so a revelation, that we in the church are vendors for Jesus!  Even though we don't sell the gospel (well, we're not suppose to) we have stations set up all over so that many will taste the fruit!

Rev. Sanchez preached  a message to the people in the Amazon out of Luke 5:18-26. In the message he focused on verse 26 and told the people of God Strange Things were going to begin to happen!  The Lord spoke through him a word of exhortation as he begin to tell them not to place their faith in each other, missionaries from the U.S., but in Jesus!  It was amazing as I looked around and saw how the people of God took what they had and made the Lord a sanctuary.

So we got back into the boat and began our travel back down the Amazon, as we got a quarter of the way we were met by a storm!  Talk about strange things!  It was quite interesting as the waves began to flow harder, the rain beat on the boat, the wind rocked the boat, the thunder and lightening worked together in unison, and I began to think about those disciples, Lord have mercy!!!  Even in that, God wasn't done using us. The Pastor that was in the front of the boat working as guide spotted another boat that was sinking!  When we got to the boat we saw there was a family on it!  This man that Rev. Sanchez instantly noticed was on that boat with his family (6 children) were on their way up the river to come to the conference and hear us preach the Word of God!  Boy, the stuff you'll do when you really want God to do something in your life.  It humbled me as they got on the boat with no complaints at all just happy, as if they knew God was going to intervene on their behalf.  With God no mission is impossible!

Rev .Sanchez  and I would like to thank everyone for giving and praying because God is already doing great things.

God bless you
Pastor Devin Johnson

First Day in Nauta - Loreto, Peru

Down by the River Side!

After a wonderful visit to El Faro Church in Lima, we flew to Iquitos and then traveled by road to Nauta for the Leader's Congress.  Before the meetings start we are traveling down the river to visit some villages.   Here is our first report:

Today we walked down the side of a semi steep dirt hill until we came to some thin handmade wooden steps leading down to the bank of the river. We had to walk across a few boats that were on the water to get to the boat that Pastor William built. It was not easy keeping our balance.  A few times I thought for sure I was going to be baptized but I made it safely to the boat!   As we pulled out into the center of the river Pastor William asked us to join in prayer because this was the first time they were trying out the boat on the river. This was great motivation for the team to really reach heaven!  As we travelled away from Nauta there was no doubt that we were in the jungle.  My I-Phone no longer had service. There were no more cars, no electrical wires and no buildings. We were headed for a village that can only be reached by boat.  As the sun beat down heavy on us we passed by fishermen and farmers.  We passed by children swimming in the rivers.  We saw birds flying and butterflies were landing on our shirst!  As the small breeze hit my face I thought of our forefathers who had gone before me to reach villages with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ and began to thank God that He has counted me worthy to continue such a magnificent calling.

After two hours in the boat we could feel every muscle in our body.  It was not an easy journey.  It took over four hours of traveling down the river before we saw the entrance way to the village.  We got out of the boat stiff with a few aches and pains but the pains all vanished the minute we saw the people!   The people greeted us with great joy which was a healing to our bodies. The long journey meant nothing compared to the love we felt as the children laughed and hugged us. The pastor showed us his little wooden church that he built for God.  And soon after we got a tour of his village. We were joined by a small host of parakeets that were rather friendly.  We were welcomed to a home for dinner along with the local pastor, a few visiting pastors and a group of people.  They served us little black fish that while they were still alive made little high pitched squeeks and grunts.  I told the ladies that were cooking, that the fish were saying “Please don’t eat me, nice people.”  Everyone laughed!  We had a great fellowship and then headed over to the church where we encouraged the pastor along with some of his congregation.  As we prayed the power of God filled the House and all the people began to gather in the doors of the church. The whole village grew silent as we began to pray. God was visiting that village! Soon it was time for us to say goodbye. We got back in the boat and traveled down the rivers.  As the sun began to set it got dark on that river! Guided by the hand of the Lord and a small flash light we made it back to the banks safely.

HELP TORNADO VICTIMS IN JOPLIN, MISSOURI

In May 2011, a Tornado ravaged the entire community of Joplin, Missouri.  95% of the inhabitants no longer have a place to live.  Massive efforts have been on-going to rebuild & while progress is being seen, much work remains.

World-Wide Lighthouse Missions (WWLM) has found 2 wonderful ministries that have committed to being a resource to their community until all has been restored.

CAN WE HELP?
YES, WE CAN!

On Oct. 10th WWLM will be loading a trailer of aid ~
