God has done a great work in Nauta Peru!

Reverend Melvin Sanchez writes:
It’s hard to believe our time in Nauta has come to an end.  We have seen God do great things in the lives of His precious people, here in the Amazon jungle.  We’ve had great time of fun with our old friends in addition to making many new friends.  We have laughed, cried, prayed and worshiped God together. We’ve been able to empower and encourage one another through the word of God.  It has truly been one of the best conferences I’ve been part of here in the Jungles.  I believe with all of my heart we lived the scripture of Psalms 133 where it says, “How good and excellent it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”  It was that precious ointment that brought both healing and restoration to many lives.

On this trip, I was not an American and they were not Peruvians...instead, we were all sons and daughters of God Almighty.  We were boldly going before His throne, seeking His face and God was faithful to hear the cries of His people in both Spanish and English.  He answered us, He healed us, delivered, filled and renewed us!  He gave us power to fulfill His will and accomplish the call on each of our lives.

One of our last meetings was so powerful – it was as if God himself stood in the midst of the congregation, reached out and laid His hands upon His people. Hot tears flowed from my eyes as I watch God move.  Many people were filled with the Holy Ghost.  Young people were called into the ministry and accepted the call to Pastor, to be Youth Pastors, Missionaries and Sunday School teachers.  Pastors and Leaders that had given up were restored and empowered.  God has given them visions of schools and training centers. God was setting things up for the biggest revival these jungles have ever seen!  Nothing is going to stop these men and women of God!

We were all in tears as God moved on our lives!  Every team member, including Pastor Gustavo and myself, had been touched by the awesome hand of God. We all left filled up and on fire!  We have been in the presence of the Lord and greater things are going to take place in the jungles of Peru!

What are you Magnifying?

Reverend Jeremiah Collins writes: 
Oh, where to begin?  God has done so much thus far while being in Peru.  Not only in the lives of all these wonderful people, but in mine as well.  I feel like God has brought me to another level in the Spirit and I'm beyond thankful for that.  I had the privilege of teaching the Gospel to about 30 young people and I absolutely loved it!  My heart is burdened for the youth of this generation, so to see them weeping, praying and being encouraged, it just blessed my soul.  The enemy has bound this generation with the spirit of fear. It has paralyzed them from doing the will of God.  But I believe today, God delivered some young people from that spirit and they are going to begin to walk in their rightful callings!

Later that night, I preached in the main service on Psalms 34.  I felt God speak to me while in prayer to ask the people, "What are you magnifying?"  Sometimes in life, we forget how big God really is and without even knowing it, we begin to magnify our problems and situations and no longer magnify God.

After delivering the message, God moved so mightily in the alter call.  Many people got blessed, strengthened, encouraged, and received miracles from the Lord.  I have grown to love these people and my burden has only increased for them.  I am upset to leave them, but at the same time, excited to see what God has in store for us in Lima.  Please be in prayer for us as we continue to do the work of the Lord.  God bless!

Broken but Chosen!

Greetings dear family and friends of the faith!  This is Reverend Aaron Tipton and I can't even begin to put into words how special my time has already been here in Nauta Peru!
I feel absolutely blessed and also humbled to have had this chance to come and do ministry here in Peru with Reverend Melvin Sanchez and World-Wide Lighthouse Missions, Inc.
The people here in Nauta have captivated every area of my heart!  And their food is absolutely delicious!  It's amazing what different cultures have to offer and I love to experience it!  Their hospitality and generosity goes unmatched!
The services have been outstanding so far with the power of the Holy Ghost moving so personally and so tangibly!
One afternoon, I taught on "Broken but Chosen".  I talked about how God uses the foolish things to confound the wise and how people might be broken but that doesn't disqualify them from God using them and moving through them!

During one of the night services, I preached on "Restoration".  I talked about how Naomi might have lost everything, but what she had left (Ruth), was enough to restore her lineage back to her!
What she had left, was more powerful than what left!  God moved and did a deep work in the people!  This trip has forever changed my life!  I believe this is a critical pivot point for my life and the transition that is to come!  Thank you for your prayers! He is the potter - we are the clay!

It is always a blessing watching the motorcycles pull onto the church grounds and the Pastors getting out from the different areas of the Amazon jungle. It feels like a small family reunion because for many of us, the last time we saw each other was last year when the Pastors and Leaders Conference ended.

The meetings have been absolutely wonderful and God has so graciously poured out the Holy Spirit in every meeting. From the very young to a very old, everyone is entering in and allowing God's word to really work in their lives. At the altars, people just poured their lives out to God and God met them, answering their prayers and meeting their needs.

During the breaks, Pastors are still talking about the word of God that was preached in small groups. Everyone is sharing about what God has done in their lives and how they are going back to their villages with such faith and expectation of a mighty move of God.

Rev. Melvin Sanchez writes:
During the morning sessions, I have been teaching on the potters house and how we are all clay in the hands of that potter. And when the potter sees that we have been broken and sometimes we've even cracked under pressure and with the trials of life, that potter puts us back on the wheel and begins to work on us and make us into something even more beautiful in His sight.

During this message, God began to move across the church talking to hearts and changing lives!
Pastors fell to their knees weeping and crying in the presence of God.  Young men and women began talking in tongues as the power of the Holy Ghost fell and filled their lives!

We were in the hands of the potter and the potter was working on us all. He was taking all the things that didn't belong inside of us and he was filling us with all the things that we need in order to accomplish what He has called us to do in this hour.

The Holy Spirit moved mightily and people shared about how God healed, delivered and set them free from anger, anxiety, fear and depression.  God replaced it with faith, hope, love, courage, strength and power!

In these first few meetings, we are already seeing what God usually does at the end of the conference...so we don't know what God is about to do next.  We are just grateful for what he has already done!

God Can Move - In Just One Moment!

Everyone had to get up very early in the morning to travel down to the docks to start our journey to Requena. Requena is a part of the Amazon Rainforest and is characterized by high temperatures, heavy rainfall and a wide diversity of plants and animals.

Expectations for a great move of God filled our hearts as we walked down a man made wood structure that brought us down the side of a hill onto some boards to get into the boat that would take us down the river.

As the boat traveled down the river, it felt like we stepped back in time. No skyscrapers, no large buildings, no fast food restaurants or malls.  Just small communities built close to the river’s edge.  We saw men in their boats who were fishing for a living, women sitting on the docks washing clothes while children bathed in the river.  A simple yet beautiful life.

The river is quiet but the sounds that fill the air come from the laughter of children and the many types of birds that fly all around.  If you happen to look at the water at just the right time, you'll catch a glimpse of the beautiful pink dolphins jumping in the water.

It took us about four hours to get to Requena on the fast boat.  If we took the traditional method of transportation, it would've taken us all day to travel there.  Thank God for some modern advancement!

When we arrived in Requena, due to the river being low, we had to find a place to doc the boat which ended up being very far from the church.  To help us travel faster, we rented motor cars and did our best to get to the church as quickly as possible.

Once we arrived at the church, which is called The Body of Christ Church, we were greeted by Pastor Manuel Pacaya who was very happy to see us.  We only had 15 minutes to bring the message and give the altar call because our boat was scheduled to leave in 30 minutes to head back to Nauta.  BUT, we were all in good spirits because we knew God did not send us four hours down the Amazon River to be hindered by time.

God gave me a message called, "In Just One Moment" and as I preached it only took a moment for the power of God to fill that little church with His presence!
Teenagers were crying, children filled the doorways from all over the streets and came in seeking God.  Believers fell out under the awesome power of the Holy Ghost!
Our time was ending, but God was just beginning to move!

People were being saturated by the Holy Ghost and many spoke in tongues for the first time! Great deliverances and healings were in the house of God.  People clapped their hands and shouted as God touched them with his awesome power!

The Pastor of the church just wept and cried because many prayers that he prayed were answered In Just One Moment!
As we started to leave the people were still praying and crying out to God.  Mothers were holding their babies with tears flowing from their eyes claiming the promises of God for that next generation.

The Spirit of the Lord moved mightily and with power and it did not take all day – it just took a moment! One moment to call on the name of Jesus!  One moment in His awesome presence makes all the difference in the world.

Before I left the church, I looked back one more time and tears filled my eyes as I watched God move on his children.  We were all amazed and left that village saying the Lord hath done great and mighty things and It Only Took A Moment!

Greetings from Peru!!!

Greetings from Loreto Peru! 

This is Rev. Sanchez reporting LIVE...and all I can say is Wow!!!

It's hard for me to believe I'm back in Loreto Peru. Before we actually got here, the team had to fly into Lima and then we had to take another plane into Iquitos.  Now, Iquitos is the world's largest city that cannot be reached by road. It's only linked to the rest of the world by river or by airplane.  Once we arrived in Iquitos, we had to stay overnight, then we got on a bus and traveled two hours down the road to Nauta.  This is where Pastor William Sifuentes from International Missionary Alliance for Leaders Education will hold his Annual Pastors and Leaders Conference that we are all so excited to be a part of.

Now let me introduce the rest of the team…we have our good friend and Ministry Partner, Pastor Gustavo Rodriquez from Christian Revival Center in Lima Peru.

Sanchez and World-Wide Lighthouse Missions, Inc. for these next two weeks, and I am looking forward to all that God is going to do. There is expectancy in my Spirit that I can't explain. I believe this is a God-ordained trip, and God is going to show Himself real to these people in a way He has never done before. The Jungle Is On Fire!! - Loreto, Peru Conference Report

Praise the Lord!  It was such a wonderful trip and God did so much for those that came to the conference!  First, we want to tell you that God said that in the last days He would pour out His spirit on all flesh and God IS pouring out His spirit and the jungle is on fire for God!  Pastors are going back to their communities encouraged, filled with power, with a fire in their spirit, a deeper love for their people and a greater determination to win their villages for Christ!  The pastors came with such an anticipation of the great things that God would do and He didn't disappoint!  What a heart these pastors have for their villages and communities; what faithfulness and desire they have for their people!  It was such an honor to be there!  We are sharing this in just one complete report as we felt that all the messages and everything God did were all one!  It just flowed together as one powerful day that built up, greater and greater.  There is no way we could tell you everything that happened, but the following is just a peek into some of what God did.

Tuesday 4/8 – Village Visit
We took the speed boat a few hours down the river to the village of Jenaro Herrera and were greeted by the people with great joy!  The church we visited had just been built a few weeks ago by Pastor William's ministry.  It took only 4 days to build - it was absolutely beautiful!  We were treated to a fish soup before going to the service - the people had such a heart for God and were tremendous servants and it was very humbling to be served by them.

The service was awesome as Minister Kenneth Erha preached on how God desired to pour out His spirit on each one of them so that the seed they have inside will produce and bring forth life.  People were excited throughout, but when it was time for the altar call God certainly poured out of His Spirit on those people.  There were a few other pastors from the community who came and God moved mightily upon them.  Many just broke weeping as the Spirit of God penetrated their hearts and brought life to the things that God put inside of them!  Some people just fell to the floor, speaking in a heavenly language as the Spirit overwhelmed them.  It was a great service and there was such a peace at the end; some didn't want to move and just sat at the altar taking it all in.

Wednesday 4/9 – Saturday 4/12 – Pastors & Leaders Conference
On Wednesday, the first day of the conference, the pastors were just arriving and many others were still on their way, so for the morning meeting, we gathered with those there for a few minutes and sang some songs, just so we could greet them!  Everyone was so happy to see Rev. Melissa Erha as she was the first woman minister to ever preach at the conference!  Minister Kenneth Erha planned to just greet them but he began to preach, as the Lord led him, on God pouring out His spirit, His rain, on every seed that was inside of them this week.  It turned into an altar call and God poured out his Spirit on those that came forward!  Pastors cried out for the rain and God moved on them mightily.  During the night meeting, Rev. Melissa preached on the storms and “contrary winds” that come against us when we are doing the will of God; how Christ would not leave them in the middle of the water but that they would make it to the other side!  The pastors responded and came down seeking God.  Many were weeping as Christ met them on the water of their storm!  So many men of God were helped.  One pastor in particular said he knew that the word was for all, but that everything that was said was for him.  He said that he had been in a storm...He knew God had instructed him to start a church and people were trying to shut it down but he is hanging on to what God told him and knows that he will make it to the other side!

On Thursday AM, Minister Kenneth taught on the purpose of a shepherd and how a shepherd must give their life for the sheep.  Throughout the message, he talked about the importance of loving God, loving themselves and most of all loving the people, their sheep.  This was very impactful as we taught on how David was anointed, not just because of his relationship with God, but because of the love he had for his sheep and the people.  God never told David to kill the bear, the lion nor Goliath, but because he took action (because of the love he had for his sheep and for his people), God anointed him as he rose up to fight.  At the altar call, the pastors came and got “into the river of God”, just like David did, to get a weapon to set their villages and God’s people free.  God really moved on the pastors as some kneeled, others wept and some even laid in the river of God!  God was putting in their hands what they needed to set their villages free and filling their hearts with His love for their sheep!  After this message, pastors throughout the conference were so thankful for the teaching because they never heard a message like that before.  They never realized the importance of loving their sheep in that way and/or never really knew how to love their sheep in the way that God does.  Many shared how they will go back to their villages and love their flock more, show God’s grace, love, mercy and fight for them the way David did!

Even during this first full day of teaching, it was amazing because our messages were right on time and the order of them was in line with what God wanted to do for the pastors.  We have to mention that during the afternoon Q&A session Rev. Melissa was not there personally, but was preparing to preach in the evening service.  Minister Kenneth answered a lot of different questions for the first few minutes and then the pastors began to ask many questions about the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues.  Many of them were taught that you automatically have the Holy Ghost when you get saved and that you didn't have to speak in tongues, so we did an hour study, breaking open the Word of God.  You could feel the tension at first, but it began to break as the Word of God penetrated through their tradition and false teachings and you could feel faith rise.  Pastors were getting excited and clapping their hands as the Word of God and truth was setting them free!  We had to quickly end the session because it was getting late and we would soon have to start the night service.

Rev. Melissa came back an hour later and wouldn't you know, she preached on the anointing and the need for the Holy Ghost, without knowing anything we talked about.  A lot of what she said was word for word of what was said in the previous session and the pastors knew that she wasn't there.  When the altar call was given, some came right away that needed the Holy Ghost.  One of the pastors, who seemed to have the hardest time with the teaching during the Q&A session, had already had a church for 9 years but never spoke in tongues...he came to the altar, fell to his knees and began to cry out “Fill me with your power, Father!!  Fill me with the Holy Ghost!!” and God answered as we prayed with him and he began to speak in tongues!  Afterwards, he just stayed there weeping, saying “Thank you!  Thank you Father!!  Thank you for filling me with your power!!”  Other ministers and women also got filled with the Holy Ghost.  After this break through, in every meeting we had, more people received the Holy Ghost!  Many even fell out as the power of God overwhelmed them.

On Friday, before the morning teaching, the pastors were already so different from when they first arrived; they were so much more excited and free.  Their singing was wonderful and they sang with joy; what a tremendous jungle choir they were!  At one point, they all began to sing their own worship to God.  How beautiful it was to hear them singing unto the Lord and expressing their love for Him.  It was hard to stop the praise and worship time!!  The women’s teaching session had a tremendous impact and was certainly a highlight of the entire conference!  All of the ministers, not just the women, were set free during the session and their lives were forever changed.  Rev. Melissa taught with authority on what the Bible says about how women can be used of God in the same way that men can.  She focused on Hannah, who had a desire inside of her and wanted to bring forth, but had been told she never would...but God remembered Hannah's prayer and caused her ministry, her gift, her seed inside of her to bring forth!  She broke down the scriptures that are often used to say that women can’t do anything in the church and brought understanding to them.  During the teaching, you could feel that women were being liberated and men were seeing things differently.  At the altar call, women came weeping and rejoicing as God set them free, knowing that God didn't make a mistake when he put a vision, a call and a ministry inside of them.  Women were loosed, knowing that they could do what God called them to do!  They all arose with a renewed desire to bring forth what God put in their spirit and the male pastors embraced the teaching and were excited.  Many of the male pastors testified that they too were liberated in their thinking and grateful that truth was brought so that their wives can stand next to them and help them in a great capacity and together they can build their churches!

Well that night, once again, Minister Kenneth, without having talked to Rev. Melissa, preached a message on the “Womb of God”.  He preached on how everything that God birthed came from His mouth; which is His womb.  The breath of God birthed Adam...through the spoken Word of God, Christ was born...and the breath of God birthed the church.  Now the church, as the body of Christ, has a mouth and that mouth can also bring forth and “birth” things.  We talked about the difference between conceiving and birthing and how God puts his seed in us, but there is a time when that “baby” inside has to come forth!  God really moved at the altar, as many pastors came forward.  Minister Kenneth prayed for many, as they came speaking what God put inside of them and as God was birthing!  God gave Minister Kenneth words for many of them.  Some people fell out under the power of God and even more people got filled with the Holy Ghost!  God’s spirit was moving everywhere in the church, even on those that weren't pastors!  Even some that were in their seat were weeping.  From the front to the back, God was moving!  Some were praying for each other and God met them!  More people came forward as the call went out that if they had needs they were waiting for God to move on, that this was the time.  We agreed in prayer with those that came and God just continued to move in the church!  It was a great night!

On Saturday morning, we had a time of testimonies.  The pastors were so thankful for all the teaching and testified of how God had spoken to them throughout the conference.  Pastor William was really fired up and began preaching and encouraged the pastors not to speak negative things and abort their vision and desires, but to bring forth all the seed that God put inside of them!  He encouraged them all to fight for their sheep!  Even Pastor William's wife, Sis. Clementina, was so grateful and said that many of her questions were answered and things were confirmed that she had been praying about.  After the meeting, it was definitely hard to say goodbye to everyone.  Not only were those that attended saying goodbye to us but also to each other.  But even though it was a sad time, you could tell everyone was charged up and ready to hit the ground running in their villages!  The pastors had bonded in a deeper way this week and it was so nice to see them encouraging one another as they prepared to leave the conference and head back home!

What a tremendous week we had in Nauta.  We want to thank everyone who prayed and gave financially to help make this conference a success!  We pray that God abundantly blesses you for your sacrifice!  Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Final Day - Pastor's Congress in Nauta, Loreto, Peru

Final day of conference - Oct. 18th

Wow! What a day we had with the pastors. We had our morning meeting where Minister Mancini taught on how we as leaders need to translate our dreams into visions for the congregation to grab a hold of it. He went into all the ways we can do this within the Church. Many pastors know the word of God in this area but lack teaching in how to apply it within their churches. It is important to not just be a dreamer - but to be a doer. That takes a vision. A vision is something you can see and obtain; there is a goal. The pastors really enjoyed this session as they work to translate their dreams into a vision. At the altar call we prayed together and witnessed an empowerment of the Holy Spirit for us to have this ability. Many pastors were weeping in the presence of God and being refreshed in their ministries.

We had a special surprise today where we were asked if we wanted to have the youth in that area come to church for a special service. Of course the answer was yes! Brother Daniel, Pastor Sifuentes' son, leads up about 20 young men in a soccer camp he holds at the church. He teaches them the Word of God , biblical principles to life and incorporates that into their training for soccer. It is basically their youth group, using soccer as the tool to reach them.

This team of 20 young men (ages 12-17) came for an afternoon service, where Minister Mancini brought an encouraging word about them being Arrows on Fire for God. The youth were attentive and at the altar call we prayed together to fulfill all that God has for our lives. Four of the men attend the church and are saved and Daniel is looking for the rest to make that commitment to the Lord. During this session the pastors were also in attendance and seen a vision of how they can reach their youth in their areas. They even stretched out their hands toward these young men and blessed them with their prayers. Here was the translation part in action - old men dreaming dreams and young men seeing visions- was happening right in front of their eyes!

To wrap up the conference, we came back that night for the final service. Minister Mancini preached that service and summed it all up- we have dreams, with the Holy Ghost as the power behind the dream. We have been protecting our dreams, we have started to see our dream being translated into a vision. There was only 1 thing left to happen- for it to come to pass. He preached on "It came to pass"...the dreams they have - God already knows them because He put it inside if them. And if He put it inside of them, He has already made the way for it to come to pass. The power of God hit that altar as the pastors stormed to it and held up their dreams to God and prophesied "It came to pass".

This conference was a blessing beyond measure.  Special thanks to Pastor Gustavo Rodriguez of Lima, Peru, who translated for the team. Continue to pray for the jungles of Peru - continue to pray for those pastors, leaders and their congregations. God is about to make their dreams for saving souls, dreams of building churches, dreams of relieving poverty, dreams of crushing corruption, dreams for a better future for their youth, come to pass.

Day 2 - Pastor's Congress in Nauta, Loreto, Peru

Oct 17 – Day 2 of the Conference

Today started early for the team (5am). We had an opportunity to go on a radio show in town that broadcasts to Nauta and surrounding areas. Many of the farmers tune into the radio show and today they were able to hear an encouraging thought from Minister Mancini. It was a great opportunity to use every tool that God has provided us on this trip to spread the Gospel. Pastor Sifuentes also was able to promote the conference for those around the area. It was an awesome opportunity and we know it will reap good fruit.

We later went to start the morning portion of the conference where we continued in our theme about  “Dreams and Visions”, where Minister Mancini  taught on how we need to protect our dreams. The dreams we have for God will be attacked and we need to protect ourselves, our churches and our ministry in order to keep that dream alive. He brought a message where we are prepared to take on all that the enemy tries to throw our way and that we would have Total Victory over every situation. The pastors gathered around the altar and prayed together – one pastor broke loose and went into a warfare prayer – praying in tongues. He made sure his dreams were being protected! It was an awesome sight to see the men and women of God fight for their dreams through the power of prayer.

We also heard that Pastor Carlos, our pastor friend that God is healing from that neck and back condition, was able to sleep on his back last night for the first time in 1 yea!. He would always have to sleep on his side, but last night he slept soundly on his back and came in smiling and rejoicing to the service. He said – "every day God is doing something more for me!"

Pastor William Sifuentes taught in the evening service of not just hearing from God and getting information, but to use that knowledge that God has given us and apply it to our life and ministry. He confirmed many things that was brought throughout the week and really ministered to the pastors. Things are going to be different now...these pastors are going to apply these teachings. He left them encouraged that God is always for us and that when we do our part, God will take care of the rest. We had a great time of fellowship with the pastors and with the church members. A great unity in being produced. We are looking forward to our last day with the pastors tomorrow!

Day 1 - Pastor's Congress in Nauta, Loreto, Peru

Oct 16 – Day 1 of the Conference

The theme of teaching and messages for this year’s conference is about “Dreams and Visions” according to the scripture in Joel 2:28 “…your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”
Pastor William Sifuentes, the leader of the conference and local pastor in Nauta, Loreto, Peru opened the conference and greeted the attendees. We started off the morning with a teaching session, where Minister Marco Mancini taught on what it is to have a dream and that the power behind our dreams for God is the Holy Ghost - the Spirit of God. He taught that there are a lot of dreams that never come to pass because they have nothing driving it - but the Spirit of the Lord is the difference where dreams can become reality. The pastors and leaders in attendance were in full attention, taking notes and soaking it in.

There was an altar call and the pastors all came down to receive prayer and to dedicate their dreams to God. Some of these pastors lost their dream because of circumstances of life, discouragements and weariness. But God caused a fresh Spirit to blow the dust off their dreams. They have dreams to see souls saved, churches to be built, power to come to their ministry. God wants us to dream big!

In the evening service, more pastors arrived at the conference, including our pastor friend from Requena who had the back and neck problem - he was at the meeting! Another miracle! It takes about 3 hours by the “fast” boat to get to from his area to Nauta where the conference was being held. It takes much longer by a regular boat. For this man to have traveled that span is truly a testimony of God's healing power. This man was still smiling and praising God in the service. He mentioned that we came at a critical time in his life. His dream has been restored and nothing will hold him back!

Minister Mancini preached the night service on the how God wants to give us His Spirit in its fullness, not just for a time or for a task, but for our entire life. That is what it means to be filled, to have the true power of God. We all did some jungle shouting in this service!! To know that we can be filled with His Spirit is the greatest joy you can have!

During the altar call, we found a lot of the ladies that attended were reaching out for that Spirit. They too can have this Holy Ghost in their lives. One of the girls that came down was Hannah, Pastor William Sifuentes' adopted daughter (he has 2 natural children and 4 adopted/foster children). She was really reaching out to God and got filled with God’s Spirit. She came from a tribe down the river where her parents neglected her and left her to raise herself at a young age. Pastor William found her and asked if he can take her to raise her in his home. She has been there ever since and now is 17 years old. She has a servant's heart and carries a meek spirit. Here is a life that was destined for destruction and had no hope, until a man of God came by and brought the light of Jesus to that life!! Now she is happy, in a Christian home, serving God and tonight, filled with the Spirit! What an awesome God we serve! Here is one Pastor’s dream coming to pass.

Minister Marco Mancini is reporting from Nauta, Loreto, Peru!!

Today was our kick-off to the trip. The team visited a jungle village called Requena. It took about 3 hours by boat, going north from Nauta (the village where the conference will take place), up the Amazon river. It was here that we met the church leadership of the Evangelic Church of Jesus Christ. In this remote village, we had limited time but Minister Marco Mancini brought a message to that leadership on not letting the world kick Jesus out of the Church.

One of the pastors present was in need of a healing. He had fallen about a year ago and has been hindered by what he thinks are slipped disks in his back. This pastor walked in with a towel over his head and having to keep his head propped up with his hand. His neck and his back were all kinked up and he was barely able to lift his arms. He spent the time during the ministering laying on a bench.

The need for this man as well as the need of the Church was great. But we serve a Great God!!!  After the message we all prayed together to fight to keep Jesus in the Church and for this pastor to be healed of this condition.

After prayer, the pastors and leaders of the Church, as well as that man, were walking around that church, praising God - going around the altars and up the aisles. This pastor was able to lift both hands up and praise God with the rest of the leadership. He was able to do things that he was not able to do in a whole year! He was crying out to God as he used his faith to trust in a God that makes the impossible possible.

Continue to pray for that pastor, as well as the church in Requena that God will send them forth with power in their ministry. It was great to know that some of the pastors of this church will be coming to the pastors conference this week. We know God is going to continue do great things!

God's Word Going Forth On The Radio!

Greetings everyone,

Today, Pastor Gustavo and I went to the radio station to share God's word.  This station was not a Christian station but they have given time each morning to a missionary here, named Crystal, who has dedicated her life to spreading the Gospel in the jungles of Peru.

 

 

 

I shared with the people that God does not want to be invisible and distant but present and alive in their lives.  He desires for the jungles of Peru to know that He is alive and He can touch and change their lives.

Pastor Gustavo shared about Jesus and how He is as close as the mention of His name.  He is not just the Jesus of the Bible from a long time ago, but He is still the Savior and can reach out and do miracles!  So, it was a blessing for us to share God's word all over this community by radio.




We also have a follow-up report to share with you.  One of the young girls from the high school we visited felt in her heart to come to the meeting.  She left her home after school and walked for miles in search of the church.  She said to herself "I must find that church and see what God is doing there".  She came during the time we do questions and answers from the Bible.  After we closed the meeting, she came down and we prayed with her that Jesus would come in her heart and lead her and guide her.  God really touched her in such a beautiful and peaceful way.

Brother Daniel, one of the youth leaders here, went to get her a Bible because he found out she did not have one.  She was very happy to receive her very own Bible and thanked him.  He went on to encourage her to read the word of God and to keep coming to church and seeking God.  Pastor William also spoke with her and she left with such joy and peace and will be starting to come to church regularly!

In closing, I would like to tell you that God is just moving through the Word and even in the fellowships!  And since a picture is worth a thousand words, I thought I would just show you what God is doing through these next pictures!

 

 

 

We are able to go up and take the country! - Loreto Conference

What a powerful day in the book of Acts it was!  We can’t even begin to explain the mighty power of the Holy Ghost that moved in this church, as there are no words adequate to express what God did.  First, we do have to say that the progression of the ministers from when they first came to the meetings was phenomenal:  Many came burdened, troubled and just weighed down with the struggles of the ministry, but through the meetings and the questions and answers sessions, joy, freedom, strength and power are being restored to these precious ministers of the gospel!  Rev. Sanchez preached a mighty message and the Spirit of God moved throughout.  He focused on not letting go of the vision, never giving it up and taking the message from the King that has been given to them.  Rev. Sanchez went on to say that God had ordained this meeting to crown those pastors with Kingdom power and a greater anointing, in these last days, to accomplish the purpose of God in their communities. 

At the end of the message, everyone came to that altar praising God, with open hearts in total surrender and letting the power of God have his way.  As Rev. Sanchez moved in the gifts of the Spirit, God gave him words for many Pastors, ministers, their wives and children. As the power of God moved, people were everywhere weeping, speaking in tongues and just overwhelmed by the power of God!  God filled some ministers with the Holy Ghost for the first time and manifested His Spirit in their lives.  A young man came that was 16 years old, who had backslid and was troubled about his future.  He kind of kept to himself and we all befriended him and involved him every chance we had.  Each day, you could see God begin to work in his life and speak to his heart.  Well on the last day, he came to the altar and as the power of God hit him, he just broke and fell down under the presence of God!  He was there for a long time and when the altar call was over, he just went to a corner, smiling, weeping, laughing as the power of God still continued to move on him.  This young man was a changed man!  He could not stop smiling; he was so free and totally transformed! Now that he is filled with power, he has accepted God’s call for his life and is ready to do the work of the ministry!

The fellowship was wonderful and there was so much joy as everyone ate, talked and laughed together.  The questions and answers sessions were powerful as the ministers had very excellent questions.  One young couple, that just started a church in Iquitos, had questions about the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues and if it is necessary because they had heard so many things.  Rev. Sanchez took time to really break it down and this couple was so thankful for the answers and excited.  The minister testified that he was so grateful that God led him to the conference as he is going back to his church in the power of the Holy Ghost!

The night meeting was awesome!  Brother Ken felt the fire in him to preach but he just had no idea what part to end with, and nothing in particular was coming to him, but he knew God was going to do something great.  So we had the pastors testify first.  As they began to share how the meetings have helped them and they proclaimed what they are expecting God to do in their churches and communities, a revival broke out!  The pastors jumped, shouted and danced as they encouraged one another!  They were fired up and some started walking back and forth, preaching and proclaiming God’s promises.  Bro. Ken preached in between all the testimonies and the ministers jumped up and shouted as the Word of God went forth.  There was so much joy and freedom as the pastors saw that they too had the power to lift each other up!  After this, we ended the meeting with rejoicing and singing.  The whole church roared with music, praise and worship as they sang and sang in joy and victory for much of the night! 

It is just amazing to see that the power of God will certainly move anywhere we let him.  Most of the time in the conference it was unbearably hot; the air was thick and humid; we were sweaty, covered with bug spray, getting bit by mosquito’s, watching out for snakes, surviving the thunder storms and lightning, but in the midst of the inconvenience of the flesh, God had is way and moved just as he did on the day of Pentecost!  These pastors have a message from the King and have His authority, and they are going back to their churches equipped with the whole armor of God, ready to turn their villages upside down!  Hallelujah!

Report #3 - Loreto Conference

Morning Meetings!
The morning meetings have been excellent!  The Pastors have been coming to church with their notebooks and Bibles, ready to get into God’s word.  Rev. Sanchez has been preaching for the last two days on “A Kingdom Mentality” (the mind of the Spirit) and it has challenged and blessed the pastors.  Everyday so far, we have had a mighty visitation from the Lord and throughout the teaching pastors have been just crying out to God! He has ministered and answered prayers through His word while the pastors were still in their chairs.  At times we just had to stop and glorify God because His presence was so strong that nobody could contain it.  What a blessing it is to watch the Holy Spirit minster to so many different pastors through out the church. 

When the altar call was given, the presence of God was so strong that, even before they could get to the altar, pastors fell to the floor, shouting and crying out to God!  Rev. Sanchez saw hands raised up to Heaven and tears flowing from many eyes as the Lord continued to move on his people.  There was a pastor who had pain in his stomach for months.  No matter what he did, the pain did not get better.  He went to the doctor and got medicine, but the pain just got worse and he could hardly rest or eat.  But thank God, this morning, while the power of God flowed around the altar, he felt something move in his stomach and then all at once his pain was gone!  There was another sister who had serious back pain for years.  It has hindered her from doing many things for God and this bothered her because she is a pastor’s wife, but while she was praying around the altar for somebody else she realized that for the first time in years she had no pain!  She even moved around looking for the pain but could not find it!  Her back pain was completely gone!  There was also a young man who recently got saved and he came to the conference looking for a touch from God.  While Rev. Sanchez was preaching, and the people were shouting, this young man felt like shouting too, but when he opened up his mouth to shout something else happened!  He felt a fire drop down all over his body and he started talking in tongues!  God filled him with the Holy Ghost!  Today was truly a day of breakthrough!


God has done so many things during these services, we can’t help but to shout and praise His name!  There was also a pastor praising God at the altar and the Lord showed Rev. Sanchez that he was worried about his child that had left the church.  Rev. Sanchez went over to him and told him not to fear because God was going to bring his prodigal child home.  This pastor started jumping and shouting because he was just praying about his daughter and only God could have known that!  After lunch, the pastor told Rev. Sanchez that he got a call from his daughter, whom he has not heard from in almost a year, and she is coming back home!  Glory to God!  So far, we all agree that this has been the most powerful conference we have ever been in and we are looking for God to do more!


Fellowship!
This year more than ever, the pastors are making friends!  It is such a blessing to hear that they are visiting each other and helping one another.  This conference has truly broken down many walls that have kept these them separated.  People are in groups, laughing and singing.  Others are playing the guitar, while some are going over their notes from the meetings with new friends.  It is the most beautiful thing to see the young and old fellowshipping together.  Many of the younger pastors and leaders played soccer during the breaks, when it wasn’t raining!  People are just being blessed and having fun!  The food is awesome and the best words we can give you to sum up our time together is Abundant Joy!



Evening Services!
The night services have been filled with great singing and worship.  Bro. Ken Erha has been teaching on the Armor of God!  He has used props and examples to demonstrate the tactics of the enemy and how the armor of God is used to defeat him.  We just had a great time in God’s word.  Bro. Ken used the pastors here to help with examples, which caused great laughter at times and shouting!  The pastors and leaders really received the Word with applause and praise!  They always came to the altar looking for God to meet their needs and to add to their lives.  Bro. Ken said he is humbled to be in the presence of such great men of God!

Report #2 - Loreto Conference

Praise the Lord!  It is exciting be writing to you from deep in the jungles of Peru!  We had a wonderful opportunity to travel down the Ucayali river (a tributary of the Amazon) on a speed boat to a village called “Flor de Castana”.  The boat was fast, cutting 8 hours of time, yet took about 2 hours to get to this remote village.  We then headed up a steep ravine followed by a 20 minute walk on a muddy trail through the jungle.  The heat was intense and the humidity was very thick.  The 20 minutes took much longer because of all the water and mud on the trail due to the torrential rains the night before.  This is a very small, remote community, filled with banana leaf-roofed huts, no running water and the people have to take baths and wash their clothes in the river.  There are no fans and the electricity only runs 4 hours at night off of a big generator; and the church stands right in the middle of this community.  As we entered, the people of the village embraced us all with great joy and welcomed us and the expectation for God to move was unbelievable! 

The service was powerful!  The people were so open and in such a place of surrender and faith that the Holy Ghost took little time to start moving.  As Rev. Sanchez was preaching, the power of God started moving everywhere in that church!  During the message, Pastor Grandes, who pastors the church, leapt up jumping up and down, speaking in tongues across the whole front of the church.  People began to get up and shout and Rev. Sanchez moved in the Spirit, speaking to individuals throughout the church as God led him. 

EVERY ONE had a mighty breakthrough!  Glory to God!  Pentecost was in this church as teenagers, the middle aged and even the older fell underneath the awesome power of God.  Children that were only 5 years old came to the altar weeping, wanting the Spirit of God to move on them and they too were touched by the power of God!    There were people everywhere, basking in the presence of God; some on their knees, some sitting on the floor in tears as the Spirit of God overwhelmed them.  From the front of the church to the back, the power of God moved mightily.  This created a stir in the entire community and people began to come in from off the streets surrounding the church as God moved!  I have been to many nations and have seen many things, and I always stand in awe of how the Holy Ghost is the same Holy Ghost in the city, as it is on the mountaintop, as it is in the jungle!  If you could simply just take a hold of it and take God at His word; what He has done for others, He will do for you! 

The fellowship after was wonderful.  As we ate together, so many people greeted and talked with us.  There was just so much joy and excitement, from the youngest to the oldest.  And it was wonderful to see some of the young men and pastors work their way down the same muddy path to get on a boat heading to the convention, as we followed just behind!  Well, tomorrow begins the convention and we cannot wait to see the great things that God will do these next few days!  God bless you!

October 2012 Conference in Loreto Peru!

 We are so excited to announce that the Bi Annual Conference in Loreto Peru will be held on October 17th – October 24th 2012.  Pastor William the Host pastor of the conference said that this would be one of the greatest conferences the jungle has ever seen. During our last conference so many pastors were encouraged through the teachings, strengthened through the fellowships and empowered by the moving of the Holy Spirit!  As the pastors left the meetings they were filled with excitement ready to go back to their villages to do a work for Jesus Christ.

Traveling to the Conference

Now that it is time for us to meet again we are expecting even more Pastors and leaders and we know that they are coming with an expectation to experience a mighty move of God! Some Pastors will be traveling for days down the various rivers. Others will travel by foot, bicycle and motorbike with joy just to hear a Word from the Lord.

Church

The pastors will stay on campus and be fed three meals a day. They will have times of prayer, fellowship and teaching.  There will also be time to spend time around the altar where we will allow the Lord to pour out His glorious Holy Spirit upon us and minister into our lives.

Campus

My friend, these meeting are so important to the advancement of the Gospel. Many pastors have gone back to their villages and won many souls for Jesus Christ. Revival has broken out in the jungles. Reports of people being healed and filled with the Holy Ghost have come in.

Teaching

Pastor Armando Bazalar

Starting with Pastor Armando Bazalar from "Christ Is Coming Soon Church" in Sedro Ysla region and he  says, "Thank God for the teachings, the jungles are filled with so many false doctrines and it is good to have great teaching from the Bible backed up by demonstrations of the Holy Ghost. Pastor Fran and Jhertia Balazar

 Pastor Fran Balazar and Jhertia  are from "River of Life Church" in a community named New York.   He is only 24 years old and he shares, "I have been coming to the conference since it started. This is where I first felt the power of God so strong and learned that I could do what God has called me to do. Last year the power of God fell so strong in the church and I knew that God had plans for me but I never expected God to call me into Pastoring. Today I am a Pastor and God is using me to win the lost in my community. I am so thankful for the teachings and for the presence of God that I feel.  My wife and I have big dreams and we know that God is able to fulfill them."

 Pastor Julio Eteni from "Prince of Peace Church of God" who lives in Genaro Herrena is a new pastor that just started pastoring four months ago. He says, "I am so thankful for the teachings at the conference. It has taught me to stand and to trust God. I have learned about church order and the moving of the Holy Ghost. The teachings have taught me to trust and train others to also depend on God, Today I am a new pastor and once again many questions have been answered in this conference! Pastor Ladislao from "Church of Jesus Christ" in Iianashpa says “I have known WWLM  for a long time but ever since I have been coming to the congress in Nauta my life has changed. God has renewed my strength and my vision. My desire for His presence has grown stronger and stronger. Through the teaching I have been able to grow a strong church that knows the Word of God and I have learned that a church should also reach out and effect the community that it is in and we are doing that and wining souls. We are evangelizing other communities and we are even teaching what we have been taught to other pastors and God is doing miracles in our midst.  Many backsliders have returned to the Lord and are now following Him. God is moving in every service and we just thank God for all that He is doing in our ministry.”
