A Visit to Pastor Gustavo's Church - Lima

The Final report!

Before Rev. Teachman and I went to the airport we stopped at Pastor Gustavo’s church. They were having a Tuesday night praise and worship service. The church was packed with people singing and glorifying God! The music was awesome and the joy of the Lord was truly present. Soon after, Pastor Gustavo got up and called Rev. Teachman to greet the church. Rev. Teachman told the people that God gave him a Word and the Word was “The drought was over and I hear the sound of the abundance of rain!”  The people clapped their hands and shouted as he encouraged them to keep praising the Lord! 

When Rev. Teachman finished sharing his heart, Pastor Gustavo called me up.  I spoke for 5 minutes on the power of a promise! And then I told everyone to tell their neighbor, “Neighbor, everything that God has promised you is about to come to pass!” After that it was all over! The Holy Ghost hit the place and people were running and jumping and shouting and talking in tongues!  The power of God filled that house!  People were crying out to God! It was awesome! Pastor Gustavo's mother amongst others were dancing in the isles and I ran from the platform and joined them!  I could not help it, I just could not be still! God was blessing His people with the Holy Ghost rain and I had to jump in it and experience it for myself!

As the Lord continued to move the people kept rejoicing, the children were rejoicing! Why? Well because the Bible says when you pray, believe that you received it and you shall have it! The Word was spoken and we prayed and believed and God showed up to perform it!  You see, God can move in one hour or God can move in five minutes! It does not matter to Him. All He needs is for us to believe!  I don’t know what God has said to you and I don’t care how impossible it may seem, if you can just believe it! You shall receive it! Oh bless His name forever!

As were leaving the church, the people were still rejoicing! Pastor Gustavo said “Wow this was like a shot of Holy Ghost Adrenaline!” God was so faithful to move in minutes and bless the church. Please pray -- this church desperately needs to find a permanent church building. They are at capacity and need a new church! Please pray that the God who can do anything will make a way out of no way and bless them with a church building in Lima Peru!

Our Team Is Home!!!

Praise God!  Rev. Sanchez and Rev. Teachman are home safe and sound!   Their plane left Lima at midnight; they flew all night and landed at JFK at 8:30 this morning.  Brother Lauri drove the weary travelers home - another 2 1/2 hour journey.  When they got in town it was wonderful to hug them and welcome them back.  Then they were very happy to see the home-made chicken soup I brought them!  There's nothing like a bowl of hot soup to put you to sleep. :)

Rev. Sanchez and Rev. Teachman were sad to leave all their friends - the family of God in Peru - but at the same time they are also very happy to be back home and with their families.  They ministered daily from their heart and soul and now they are ready for a much needed rest.  Thank you for praying that God restores their strength quickly! 

God bless you and thank you for all your prayers and giving that made this trip a great success in His Kingdom!!  Only eternity will reveal all that was accomplished.

Saturday - Last day of conference in Loreto

Anointing fall on me!

Saturday’s meeting was incredible! We were so happy to see Pastor José and more pastors from the jungle. Everyone had a great time fellowshipping and when it was time for service everyone was filled with joy and excitement.  I preached a message called “And the oil stayed”.  It was a very powerful message! Pastors and leaders were standing to their feet shouting and clapping! Some were jumping and shouting! The power of God was so strong that no one could be still!  Then all at once I believe we experienced what the disciples felt as cloven tongues of fire sat upon each of them in the book of Acts! The Holy Ghost filled the house! Pastors and leaders were getting slain out! People were crying and talking in tongues! The gifts of the Spirit were in operation! We were experiencing Pentecost! The fire of the Holy Ghost just kept moving!

Pastor José fell out talking in tongues! Pastor William was on the floor as the Holy Ghost renewed and refreshed his vision! There was power in the house! People were being healed; young children were being filled with the Holy Ghost. God was filing ever available vessel. Whoever wanted to be touched, whoever wanted to be filled, whoever wanted a miracle received something powerful from the Lord today! Then when we thought it was all over the young preachers were praying for the old preachers and the old preachers were praying for the young preachers and the power of God hit that place like lightning and that church shook under the power of God! The oil of God was truly in the house and God moved with power and authority!

The song writer said “Anointing fall on me, anointing fall on me, let the power of the Holy Ghost fall on me"! That’s the key right there, the word let, you have to let it, no matter what you are going through, you have to let it, no matter what you are facing, you have to let it, no matter how you feel, you have to let the power of the Holy Ghost fall on you! Why don’t you take a moment right now and ask the power of the Holy Ghost to fall! Why don’t you take a moment right now and begin to shout! Anointing fall on me!

I just can't help myself, it is like fire shut up in my bones! This is my prayer for every boy and girl, for every man, woman and child, that the anointing of the Holy Ghost would fall on them. I mean fall until sicknesses are healed, fall until the backslider comes home, fall until demons are cast out and blind eyes open, fall until every vessel is filled with power! God said in the last days that He would pour His Spirit out on all flesh and sons and daughters would prophesy! Young men would see visions and old men would dream dreams and upon His handmaiden and servants He would pour out of His spirit the gift of the Holy Ghost and God is doing just that.

The pastors were at the altar for hours! God moved and moved! We jumped in that river of life and there was no turning back! We cannot help but to thank and praise God for all He has done in the lives of these precious pastors and leaders from the jungle! And I know without a doubt, that the best is yet to come!

Praise God!!!! He deserves all the glory, He is so good and even when He has to straighten our path He does it with great love and with our best in His mind. The challenge is great, the giants are there, but if God is for us who can be against us. This conference is like when God talked to Joshua and the people of Israel before entering the promise land, giving us instructions and equipping us for what God has ahead. Thank God for sending this team to Peru!!!!

Friday - Showers of Blessings!

 

The morning and afternoon sessions have just been incredible! God has been moving and confirming, establishing and empowering His leaders in mighty ways. Many people have come up to me telling me how they got their answer and direction. God has renewed lives and restored dreams.  Many young preachers that lost focus have now got their eyes back on the assignment that the Lord has given to them. Pastor William shared with us how a part of the vision that God has given him has seemed to die over the duration of time. He went on to say “You labor and labor trying to do what God has called you to do, you direct, you preach, you build, you plan and you even write a mission statement with goals and directives only to see very little results.  When you are full of vision and potential and you don’t see results, it is very discouraging. But the Lord has visited me and renewed my vision. The Lord has made His path plain. I can see it clear. I feel like I did when I first got filled with the Holy Ghost! Renewed and regenerated! I am strong like a young man and ready to do what God has called me to do. And I feel like he has given me back everything I need to do it."

The visitation of the Lord just seems to keep increasing! The power of God is just moving mightily in our midst. Pastors are being saturated in the power of the Holy Ghost! God has called young people in the ministry! God has been directing His people by His Word and by prophesy! Pastors and leaders are not even able to get up from the altar because the power of God is moving so mightily. People are just crying out to God and God is hearing their cries and meeting their needs.

This afternoon people were slain out all around the altar. The Lord really spoke to Daniel, Pastor William’s son giving him the charge to take up the call and the vision that the Lord has given to him. The power of God hit that young man and there is a fire in his spirit that has ignited his zeal for God. He is ready to fulfill his destiny. He is ready to work in the field that the Lord called him to labor in! All over the altar pastors were weeping and crying! The Holy Ghost was moving and lifting up hearts. God is encouraging and equipping his people to go back into the jungle and set his people free! The Spirit of the Lord just kept moving. It moved in waves!

As the presence of the Lord lifted. I saw pastors and wives crying together. I saw young men slain out on the floor. Others were at the altar singing songs of praise to God. Some people were walking around the church praising God. It was like the cloud of God rested in that church. All the children were around Rev. Teachman and myself just crying and glorifying God. The very little children just smiled and hugged us as the Lord was moving. They just had to be close to God’s presence.  When I looked outside it was now dark and soon we were going to have dinner. No one closed the meeting and some people did not move for a long time. I believe with all my heart the greatest revival Peru has ever seen is about to hit the jungles!

Paths of Jungles-Rev. Teachman

We went out his afternoon with Cesar our translator and we were testifying to two ladies outside a small building. They invited us into their home to share the Gospel with the rest of the family.  They set up chairs and we ministered to them. I asked if any of them wanted prayer and the woman in charge said please pray for all of us together. We held hands and as we prayed and the presence of the Lord filled the house. Many we crying as God touch them in their hearts.  They were very thankful for prayer.

Friday Night Service-Rev. Teachman    

Tonight I ministered on how God has revealed Himself to you. At the altar call all the children were standing in a line at the front of the altar. And as I touched them each one of them was slain out in the Holy Ghost. All these children remained under the presence of God for quite a while. When they got up they all went to the altar and stayed on their knees crying out to God. Many people were overcome by the love of God, They were crying in thankfulness for what the Lord has done in their lives! The presence of God was so strong that many pastors and leaders fell over under Gods power as we spoke to them. Sister Clementina came and asked for prayer for her arthritis. After prayer I asked her if she had any more pain. She said she could find no pain because God completely healed her. Praise the Lord God does all things well.

As you read these reports you can see why we need to continue giving towards these meetings in the jungle. God wants to empower his people to go into the jungles and win the lost, heal the sick, deliver the captives and build churches for his glory. Thursday - Second Day of Meetings Part 2

House to House  Evangelism –Rev. Teachman

 

This after noon a group of us went out to testify to the people in the center of town and to pray with a young man who was sick in his home. This young man’s name is Angel. When we got to his home we found him lying in his bedroom with pain in his stomach and as we prayed God immediately healed him. All the homes in this area are on stilts above the river. As we walked to the next home we saw children fishing from the window in the living room. The entire community is very impoverished with many needs yet the Lord laid it on our hearts to travel their because He had work to do in the midst of His people.  At the next home we went to we talked to a woman outside who wanted us to pray with her for salvation but she said before we pray, come into her house and pray for her whole family. We all held hands together and as we prayed the presence of God came on the whole family. Many other people gladly received the Word and we were all filled with the Joy of the Lord as we left this village.

Thursday Nights Meeting- Rev. Teachman

Tonight I preached on God looking for a deliverer.  At the altar call the presence of God was rapidly falling on the people as we prayed with them. Every time I pray at the altar a five year old boy comes running to me hugging me and crying on my shoulders. I just break into tears every time he does this and after I finish praying with him he always kisses me on the cheek. When the altar call was almost over we all entered into a quiet time of worship. Many of the people were just sobbing and crying. In the middle of our worship the lights went out leaving us all in the dark. The service was now a prayer meeting in the dark. But this did not hinder us at all. We just kept praying for quite a while. From the young to the old all were just weeping before God. When Pastor William finally announced service was over, nobody moved. Many people were still crying and worshipping God as they left the church.

Thursday - Second day of meetings Part 1

Thursday morning - Oh Magnify the Lord!

Today everyone came ready to hear a Word from the Lord. The atmosphere was super charged with expectation because of how God has been moving. This morning we taught on "Taking our place in the Kingdom of God and sitting in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus". The Holy Spirit wasted no time in imparting and empowering believers.  Pastors and leaders are being saturated by the power of the Holy Ghost and it is much more then emotionalism.  It is the reality of the power and presence of Almighty God  that is moving in a much deeper way. I mean people are crying out to God, others are laying prostrate in travail. God is doing something awesome in our midst. Little children are running into the church and crying at the altars. They feel the glorious presence of God. Every service is running past time because nobody wants to disturb the moving of the Spirit of God.  

 

Sometimes I feel like a kindergardener trying to write a college essay when it comes to explaining the move of the Spirit. How do you explain it when the power of God overshadows a church and people start weeping and crying and talking in tongues?  How do you explain the feeling of the glory when it fills the house, or the cry of a soul that has found its answer in God?  What letters do you use to explain young people finding their call in God and being filled with the Holy Ghost and fire, and young jungle workers who are about to give up and throw in the towel but received the fire to fight back and keep working for God?! I don’t know how, but I am doing my best because I stand amazed at the presence of God and I cannot do the moving of the spirit justice because what he is doing in the lives of his people here in Nauta is just plain AWESOME!

Thursday afternoon - Divine Visitation                

Every question today during our questions and answers had to do with the Keys of the Kingdom, operating in the Kingdom, and the Kingdom with you. The more we answered questions the greater everyone's faith became. It got to the place that faith was so high in that church that we all stood and starting claiming miracles. We started asking God to do the impossible. As we prayed that church shook and it was like the Lord of Host walked through that church. People were shouting, crying, talking in tongues. People were slain out everywhere! God was making Himself known. Pastor William was on the floor, Sister Clementine was slain out! Pastors were on their faces before the Lord! It was incredible! Then prophesy started to come for people's lives! As the Word of the Lord was delivered, the power of God saturated lives! Cries of praise filled the air! Confirmations were being brought forth! Rev. Teachman gave a Word to Pastor Gustavo and the power of God came over him mightily! Then the Holy Ghost just took over! Leaders started praying for other leaders! Pastor William was going around and praying for pastors! People were claiming things for people’s lives! The power of God just kept moving and moving and moving! And all of a sudden this overwhelming love just consumed the place.  Everyone was hugging and crying and you just felt this glorious compassion towards your brothers and sister in Christ. I have never seen or felt anything like this in my life! This after noon session ending in the evening! God visited us and we will never be the same again!
