Then Pastor Travis grabbed the microphone from Rev. Mancini and with renewed fire he started preaching. He was walking amongst the people with the wireless microphone exhorting that you don’t have to wait, you could step out and get saved, healed and filled with the Holy Ghost right now! Then he went around laying his hands on people and God was moving! We thought it was all over but God had more for his people! Pastor Travis was beside himself; he did not know what to do. He went back up on the platform and called Rev. Sanchez to preach but he forgot the singers he had lined up and he forgot the offering. He was in another world but God wanted the service to go on! This was the second revival!
When the singers got up to sing there was something different in their songs. There was an added power to their singing! Even the Borders quiet singing had new life. And when the Daughters of God got up to sing, they were fantastic! While they were singing people were crying, clapping their hands and praising God! As they sang one song, "Jesus at the Well", the presence of God really touched people lives! We thought the service was over here but it wasn’t, it was a third revival. They told me later (Rev. Sanchez) how much they got out of the preaching and really want more of God in their lives and in their ministers. One of the ladies said that she could not contain the power that was coming forth from the preaching and felt like she was going to explode!
But God was not done yet! We know that this is not the right English but this is Missouri talking! God wanted His Word to come forth. I (Rev. Sanchez) preached “There is Oil in the House!” from the story in Kings from the widow whose husband died and the creditor came to get her sons but their was oil in the house to meet her needs. I went on to say there was a pot of oil which is the Holy Ghost and you have to get it for yourself. At the altar call people came with expectancy! Rev. Mancini was at one end, Pastor Travis was in the middle and I was on the other end. All over the altar the Holy Ghost was moving! Four ladies fell out in the Holy Ghost! One was a young lady who was visiting from another church. She came to the altar seeking God and when hands were laid on her she went down! And she kept praising God on the ground! Also a young man was really committing his life to God. One the other side of the altar there was woman who came to the meeting for the first time. As she lifted her hands the power of God came upon her and she started talking in tongues and crying and she fell out under the power of God. Another lady came for prayer and she got filled with the Holy Ghost and fell back on a chair and we left her there talking in tongues and praising God. Another lady who has been battling depression for the last few years has coming to the meetings and has been getting stronger and stronger every night. She testified earlier that yesterday was the first time she had no depression all day! And tonight was her night, as she praised God we laid hands on her telling her to receive her pot of oil. The minute this was spoken she lifted her hands higher and her arms started trembling, her lips started stammering and she fell back magnifying God! Meanwhile this lady's daughter was really seeking God crying and we spoke to her telling her to receive her pot of oil and when we laid hands on her and her body trembled and you could feel the Holy Ghost rising up inside of her and she burst forth talking in tongues!
These are just a few highlights of what God did Friday night! People were everywhere praying for each other believing God for miracles and healings. People were laid out on the ground, in chairs, on their knees, sitting on the bails of hay and God was moving! This was the fourth revival. Near the end Pastor Travis talked about a group of pastors that had a burden for this area and they prayed for revival 40 years ago. One of the pastors who prayed the prayed was in the tent revival. Pastor Travis said that he believes that this is the answer to the prayer they prayed 40 years ago and this is just the beginning.
God bless you & Thank you for praying
Rev. Sanchez & Rev. Mancini
